Indiana Dunes State Park- Friday evening
By the time the group rolled in to the Indiana Dunes it was probably too late to do any real hiking, but you had plenty of time to get set up for the night. Which meant putting up tents, building fires and cooking. You know, the fun stuff before the temperature dipped into the high 40's overnight.
You could also explore the campgrounds! There were electrical hookups... but the ones at this site were on the fritz, so hopefully people brought portable chargers if they really needed their phones. Or you could ask someone at a neighboring site to ask theirs and make new friends. There was also a pump for fresh water and bathrooms that were nearbyish, if you didn't mind a little bit of walking.
So maybe tonight was a little bit of work. It'd just mean you really earned whatever dinner and junk food you brought.

Tents
And remember, while no one can come inside when you're inside your tent, if you're outside and say, struggling to pitch your tent (not dirty), people can see you to help/mock.

She'd likely have more personal space than she used to have under most of those bridges, god knew.
This didn't mean she wasn't sitting, turning one of the tent stakes over in her hands and looking at the pile of canvas with a bemused expression while she tried to figure it out. Which she would! Eventually. Hopefully before Cosette came over and tried to help.

He was also making Eliot set it up because...Eliot. Look, putting up tents in the wilderness was not his skillset. That was his story and he was sticking to it.
"So, anyone else notice that our electrical hookups are broken?" Because that was the first thing he'd checked, damn right. "How'm I supposed to rig up a portable hotspot big enough to cover the whole camp if we don't have power?"
It was possible Hardison didn't understand camping.

Of which Barry wasn't enjoying because for some reason none of his tech was working.
So he'd just be over here grumbling as he tried to get the tent set up.

In her excitement she'd skipped right past the concept of dinner, but . . . s'mores.

She'd be sitting over here with her apples, granola, bread, and dried vegetables. She'd bought a couple of the dried meals, but she still wasn't entirely sure about them.
