After scouring the hotel and pulling any truly unwilling Fandomites out from under beds and out of closets, the spring break trip moves from Bali's beautiful beaches to the vibrant and bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

It's still nice and warm, though, never fear: it only cools down to 85 in the evening!

We haven't exactly downgraded, folks: The Mandarin Oriental (http://www.mandarinoriental.com/kualalumpur/hotel/) is one of the most luxurious accommodations in Kuala Lumpur.

Students are lodged in deluxe park view rooms (http://www.mandarinoriental.com/kualalumpur/accommodation/deluxe-park-view-room/) with great views of KLCC Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KLCC_Park) and large marble bathrooms, and the chaperones are five floors up in the club park view rooms (http://www.mandarinoriental.com/kualalumpur/accommodation/club-park-view-room/) where they have access to the hotel's club amenities (weekday deli lunch, afternoon tea and evening cocktails) and you kids don't. Maddie preferred going swimming later in the day because she was a pale redhead and guess who didn't want to match her hair for the rest of vacation. When she got to her room she went ahead and changed into her bathing suit (and she was only a little self-conscious about a two-piece, really) and hit the pool.

The view was pretty hard to beat.
