Singita Boulders Lodge, South Africa, Monday [Morning and Early Afternoon]

The sun rose over the lodge in a stunning display of colors though without the musical accompaniment at way too early in the morning, but everyone was up anyway, right? It was time for the very first game drive around the park, and an early start was necessary to see the animals at the watering holes.

Fortunately in a lodge this nice, coffee was provided.

Good morning, Fandom! It's only 63 degrees (or 17, if you're a local) as you wake up, so bring a jacket along with your hat, camera, water and binoculars (and all the sunscreen--trust us) on the drive, but it'll warm up to a comfortable 79 (or26) by midafternoon. Ready to see some lions?

Jackson rolled his eyes. "You've interrupt my time without people bothering me."

It was about the same thing, really, considering the things he'd been thinking about just prior to this.

Jackson did his best to be as dismissive as he possibly could, turning to look at some more pieces of handmade jewelry that he wasn't going to buy.

"Run along now, Loki."

If only it were that easy.

"You have no fun," Loki informed him, skipping behind him to the other side in case there was something of note there.

Strangling him with a necklace would probably be a little much, right? Jackson could still imagine doing it.

"You should," Loki replied in a sing song. He plucked up a necklace, turning it in his hands to investigate every angle.

Jackson's eyes narrowed, even if he wasn't even looking at Loki. "No. You know why? Because I don't need to do anything you consider fun."

Because so far? Loki's fun had a lot to do with annoying Jackson.

Loki's look was distinctly unimpressed. Even if he did need to look up at Jackson.

"You have seen mine brother, yes?"

"He's not here right now." Besides, Jackson hadn't even actually threatened to do anything, so he felt like he was in the clear. "Best leave me alone, pipsqueak."
