Singita Boulders Lodge, South Africa, Monday [Morning and Early Afternoon]
The sun rose over the lodge in a stunning display of colors though without the musical accompaniment at way too early in the morning, but everyone was up anyway, right? It was time for the very first game drive around the park, and an early start was necessary to see the animals at the watering holes.
Fortunately in a lodge this nice, coffee was provided.
Good morning, Fandom! It's only 63 degrees (or 17, if you're a local) as you wake up, so bring a jacket along with your hat, camera, water and binoculars (and all the sunscreen--trust us) on the drive, but it'll warm up to a comfortable 79 (or26) by midafternoon. Ready to see some lions?

Re: The Library [Oct 8, 2012, Day]
By the time he left South Africa, he might even have a handle on the history of the place if he kept reading at this rate -- though it was less clear whether he'd actually go outside.
