The Copacabana Hotel was certainly... statuesque. The front facade stood high and formal in the middle of lovely Rio, though, like a mullet, all the fun was in the back - at the beachside, where fun and sun would be waiting come tomorrow.

The Fandom contingent had managed to get their hands on some beachside rooms, though it was probably best not to ask who or what had made this much money change hands. Because it wasn't like anyone running this gig had any interesting off-shore accounts...

The answer better be 'looking for my room, which is not this one.'

Loki narrowed his eyes. "You may have the bathroom. I will take this room."

"I'm not going to sleep in the bathroom!" Alex said, making it sound like the ludicrous idea it clearly was. "I was here first!"

"Well, I am certainly not leaving," Loki replied as Ikol settled on the other bed in the room expectantly.

"But--I--" Alex sputtered. "But--no!" Okay. Think. "Maybe the hotel has another room you can have."

Yes. Another room available at a beachfront hotel during Carnival. That was totally going to happen.

Loki rolled his eyes at that. "My records state I am 14! The room should be mine."

Loki glared at that as the magpie cawed in amusement. "I am staying in my room."

The only response possible was to take a seat on his bed. And pretend Alex wasn't even there.

Alex waited for about a minute before he realized he was getting the silent treatment. "I can't believe this," he muttered.

And went back to unpacking his stuff, because no way he was letting Loki chase him out of his room.
