Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sunday Afternoon and Evening

The Copacabana Hotel was certainly... statuesque. The front facade stood high and formal in the middle of lovely Rio, though, like a mullet, all the fun was in the back - at the beachside, where fun and sun would be waiting come tomorrow.

The Fandom contingent had managed to get their hands on some beachside rooms, though it was probably best not to ask who or what had made this much money change hands. Because it wasn't like anyone running this gig had any interesting off-shore accounts...

Summer made her way to the room and admired the set up, before putting her bag down on the unclaimed bed.

After checking out the bathroom, she made her way onto the balcony. Summer didn't smoke herself but she didn't mind it. She was used to it, especially when her uncle was around. He had a thing for cigars.

"Wow. That's one heck of a view."

"That is definitely one way to put it," Sarah rasped, in a good enough mood for once. This was, after all, the first perk to the teaching gig that she'd seen. "Don't know what kind of a school administration takes kids to Rio during the carnival, but I love it."
