And so our heroes have broken up into smaller groups.

One to rescue Dawn and stop Harth from whatever he had planned.

The other to protect the Watcher building and allow Willow to cast her spell.

They were uglier than Peter had expected. Which was a stupid thought in the situation. He moved towards them, sword at the ready, cutting off their approach to Willow.

The two vampires glanced at each other.

One ran directly at Peter and attacked him with a snarl... while the other one headed toward Willow.

That wasn't going to happen. Peter blocked the first vampire's attack and thrust back with an swift slice of his own before stepping into the second's path.

The vampire yowled in pain as hit felt the sword hit its side and backed away momentarily as the other vampire tried throwing a punch at the young king's head..
