And so our heroes have broken up into smaller groups.

One to rescue Dawn and stop Harth from whatever he had planned.

The other to protect the Watcher building and allow Willow to cast her spell.

That one hit true, knocking him backwards. One hand went back to try to block his fall, while the other hung onto the sword for dear life.

The lurk cackled as she tried to jump on top of Xander, her teeth flashing at him as she snapped her jaws.

He brought the sword up again, and rolled, trying to push her off; no room or breath to get in a real swing.

The vampire fell backward and hissed as it tried to swipe at Xander with it's claw like fingers.

Xander scrambled up, nails catching only his shirt this time. He had room for a good swing of the blade now, so he did, aiming for the vampire's neck.

The aim was true and the vampire's head went spinning as her body exploded into dust.
