And so our heroes have broken up into smaller groups.

One to rescue Dawn and stop Harth from whatever he had planned.

The other to protect the Watcher building and allow Willow to cast her spell.

Erin fell back onto the ground, but not before letting a shot out at the attacking vampire.

The lurk howled, rearing back in pain, and clutched at his side. He panted for a few seconds before lunging towards Erin again.

Erin lunged forward with the stake aiming for what she hoped was the heart.

"This better rutting work."

Fortunately for her, and unfortunately for the lurk, it did. The vampire crumbled into dust.

Erin moved forward carefully aiming her weapon and firing at any non-human thing that may be approaching.

One shot got a lurk right in the kneecap. He went down like a ton of bricks, snarling in pain, and tried to pull himself to standing again.

Erin aimed for the Lurk's head and let off another shot before attempting to stake it.

The headshot got the lurk in the eye. It roared and smashed one fist towards Erin's face, dodging the stake by inches.

Erin went flying backwards and crashed to the ground she scampered over to her dropped gun and let off a few more rounds as she tried to retrest.
