Haddyn: 200 years in the Future (Day Two)

By the time Mel, Zuko and Erin get back to the Watcher libary, it is in the wee hours of the morning.

Mel looked tired as all beat out but now she knew her sister was alive and if luck held out she'd be getting her brother back by the end of the day.

What she didn't realize is that her plans were about to be torn to shreds.

Mel bounced into the library with a grin on her face. "Mission accomplished guys! The orb-thingie is ours and even better my sis is alive!"

Sam was still holding onto Dawn's stake when Mel came in, turning it over idly in his hands. "Good job, that's great," he said a bit dryly. "But we have a different problem now."

"What's wrong now?" Mel said suddenly sensing the mood in the room. "What happened?"

"Dawn got kidnapped," Sam said carefully. "And Bridge thinks it was your brother who took her."

Mel's cheerful demeanor quickly disappeared.

"When? When did this happen?"

Erin had already pulled out her comm and was relaying information to back to the police. "According to my contacts? We're also seeing a ton of lurk activity throughout the city. Last time Harth surfaced we saw a lot of similar activity. This... could be very bad."

Search Party Thread

All thoughts of sleep gone the group heads down to the Marketplace and begin searching for a trail for Dawn and who took her.

Walking at the front of the group, Bridge has one ungloved hand out and is following Harth and Dawn's trail.

"This way, guys," he says as he turns a corner.

Sam followed closely behind Bridge, watching him work as they walked. "Can you tell anything about how Dawn is from the aura?"

"She's unconscious," Bridge says, well aware that Sam would *not* be happy to hear that. "And I think... something might be wrong with her right arm?"

Harth sits on his comfy scaffolding as his minions continue to work on the sacrificial site.

At one point he looked over at his captive and grinned.

"I'm sorry for the accomadations. Well actually I'm not. Creature of the undead here. However I can promise by tomorrow you'll definitely be checked out."

Willow was in massive research mode. If she was going to try to soul Mel's brother she wanted to make extra sure to do it right.

And if she happened to help herself to some supplies she found around HQ, well darn.

Katara was there wandering around the HQ. It wasn't like she really knew how to stand guard, but she was wandering while carrying holy water. She though that should count.
