Dawn was wandering around, looking at shops and stalls. Not really for gifts, but just to see what was there.

"Not if they're gonna need it later," Dawn answered immediately, "Why? Who needs a scarf?"

Molly blushed a little and looked fascinatedly at one of the stalls they were passing. "Um, no one," she said. "I was just wondering." Because that blue scarf I saw would look really nice on Karal.

"Oh," Dawn wondered about the blush, "Then no, I don't think it's dumb. It's...thinking ahead."

"Hmm, okay. I'll think about it," Molly said thoughtfully. "Oh! I need to get something for Katara. I was thinking about a teddy bear. Do you think that would be good?"

"She doesn't have a teddy bear?" Dawn was shocked, "Well, no. I guess she wouldn't, would she? I think that would be very sweet."

"I dunno. I mean, most of the people I'd buy for are here, y'know?" Dawn picked up a pretty pair of earrings and wondered briefly if Buffy would like them.

Molly giggled. "That's true," she said. "Plus, if you wanted to get Buffy, Willow or Xander anything, you could just ask the ones here what they'd like."

"That doesn't work as well as you'd think," she said, putting the earrings back, "they're so different now that their tastes have changed. Buffy and Willow especially."
