At the other side of the portal ~~post to be linked tomorrow~~, everyone would find themselves standing on top of

a large cliff with a castle behind them. Even with the clouds and light rain, it was still an inspiring sight.

"Whoa." Dawn couldn't help but stare at the gorgeousness. "Somebody sold their soul for real estate, and I'm not sure that I blame them." She glanced around at her friends and grinned. "I think that's where we're going, but maybe there's a greeting party or something? We get a bit distracted sometimes."

[ooc: Posted early for slow play and time zones. Massive OCD ~~on the way~~ is up! Feel free to add OCD threads in the proper place if I forgot something. Vampire hunting will go in a different post and will be posted tomorrow (or late tonight, maybe), so we don't break browsers. Sam went into the room and glanced at the beds. Dean would probably want the one by the door, which meant Sam had the choice of sleeping by the window, or sleeping in the middle bed, and staying between Dean and Alec. Somehow, he had a feeling that last option wouldn't go over well.

Dean automatically dropped his bag on the bed by the door. "Gotta say, Sammy, not that I don't like rooming with you, but I would've thought you'd be staying with Dawn."

"With Buffy around? I think I'm lucky to be staying in the same time zone," Sam replied, making a decision and tossing his bag onto the bed furthest from the door.

"Dude, you've been rooming with her for over a year. It's not like you doing so now is going to change anything. Buffy's just going to have to learn to deal with the fact that Dawn ahs a mind of her own."

"Right, because that's an idea that's easily accepted by overprotective older siblings."

"When have I ever not treated you like you have a mind of your own?" Dean asked frowning.

Sam smirked. "I actually wasn't including you in that statement, but thank you for proving that you realize you're overprotective," he said. "You do let me have a mind of my own. You just make it really clear when you don't like what I'm thinking."

"Yeah, like you don't bitchface at me when you don't like what I'm thinking too."

"Okay, I guess I can't argue with that one, can I?" Sam asked, laughing softly.

Alec finally wandered into the room and made a face at the only bed left over. He didn't even throw his bag down yet, giving Dean a hopeful look. "Trade you?"

"How 'bout we just push the two together and share?" Dean counteroffered.

Alec grinned and threw his bag on the middle bed finally. "Works for me."

Sam stared at the two of them. "If you guys need me, I'll be over here throwing up."

Dean made a face. "Pretending I'm not offended by that for a moment, if just that makes you nauseous, you probably should go room with Dawn because I see no reason to pretend Alec and I don't sleep together."

"I wouldn't be bothered if I thought all you guys were going to do is sleep," Sam replied. "And staying with Dawn isn't an option, you know that."

"Hey, if she was my girlfriend, I'd be staying with her," Dean said. "I mean you're not ashamed of your relationship or anything are you?"

"Of course not. That's not the problem," Sam said. "If she was your girlfriend, you'd be hiding from Buffy's wrath just like I am."

Dean shook his head. "Only if I felt I was doing something wrong, which yeah, not so much."

"And you just wouldn't worry at all about getting Dawn into trouble?"

"Last I checked, Dawn didn't think she was doing something wrong either. So why should she have to lie about it?"

"It's not lying. It's...you'd understand if you had normal thoughts about me having sex and weren't all gung ho about Dawn and I sleeping together."
