Getting Out Into Coruscant [Friday morning into Saturday afternoon]

Anakin pointed out of one of the vaulted Temple windows towards the busy cityscape in front of them.



"And that is Coruscant. Clubs, restaurants, shopping, incredibly egotistical politicians, useless bureaucrats...it's all out there." He pointed to the nearest public transport pickup location. "Don't go lower than the mid-levels of Coruscant unless you're looking to disappear permanently," he warned. "There are a trillion beings on this planet, and it has a thriving underworld who are as ruthless as any you'll ever come across."

Marie decided to go out for breakfast before heading back to Fandom... even though it would be lunchtime when they got there.

Her head might hurt a little from thinking too much about that.

A large alien lumbered from behind the counter and put a menu down in front of Marie. "Can I get you a cup of caf?" he asked with a wink. "Or some stim tea?"

The topic at hand: should the Republic have it's own standing army? Tempers were running high and the dialogue wasn't precisely...diplomatic.

Peter walked in to view the Senate discussion. He didn't really understand politics, but he sure knew how important it was due to the superhuman situation at home. This wcould be interesting.

Ten minutes in, he realized that Professor Lyman would find it interesting. Peter was more interested in figuring out whether or not he could get away with jumping around the Senate chamber for exercise. Probably not...

When you visited another planet for the first time, Dean figured it was expected you bring back a souvenir or for your little brother. So here he was out souvenir hunting, looking for Sammy gifts.

Alanna didn't gawk, years of experience had taught her to keep her jaw firmly in place. She was gawking internally though. And calculating how much she was going to have to beg Myles, Alan, and Duke Gareth for after this trip.

Marie figured she should get some souvenirs for people. Definitely Willow. And probably something for Charlie because she felt bad about their conversation. And maybe even Jamie.

Peter needed to find something for Zero here. Maybe Aunt May as well if he could find something that he could claim wasn't from another planet. So he was walking around, looking for any nice shops he could afford.

Hit the bars, clubs and way expensive restaurants. There's no drinking age on a planet with a few thousand different sentient species. Try not to embarrass yourself.

Before meeting up with anyone else on Friday night, Peter had to do something. He just had to. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he didn't do it. So he put on his webshooter and climbed up the side of a building.

Here he was, high above the biggest city he could ever possibly see. He looked all around him. The tallest buildings ever and flying cars everywhere he looked. "This is going to be fun," he said.

And then he jumped. Ten seconds into the freefall, he still wasn't close enough to the ground to worry, but he had picked up enough speed to make what he was about to do very fun. He shot a web at a nearby building. When it caught, he began a fast swing that launched him into the air when he released the webline.

"WAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" he yelled before continuing his own special self-guided tour of the city.
