After arriving in front of the Air & Space Museum, Veronica passed out maps and told her students, "You can go anywhere and take pictures, but I recommend the places circled on these maps. You're also free to check out any of the museums on the Mall."

She glanced towards Sam. "Do you know anyone?" she asked.

Elizabeth nodded slowly. "My godfather. '78. I only met him the once that I remember - and I barely remember that."

Elizabeth squeezed Sam's hand in return. "I'll fight 'til my dying breath for it," she said simply. "I have my issues with the military, but not with the people who have lived and died for the cause."

Elizabeth snickered. "Yeah. Or maybe the design will be different - maybe a circular wall and he could have his own little fountain or something in the middle?" she suggested.

"There's something almost poetic about Daniel's memorial making people have to go to the bathroom for the rest of time," Sam laughed.
