Nadia smiled back at the vendor and started down the street. "Thank you. It's been awhile since I had the money to even start bargaining. It's a lot of fun."
"I did a little haggling in Tokyo and Hawaii, but I always ended up walking back for the things I wanted and paying just under the asking price. They could always tell I could afford it," Parker said ruefully. "And thank you, it's nice to have someone save me from impulse purchases. I like spending money but I hate wasting it."
Nadia laughed. "I wish I had that problem. I've never had that much money, so I had to learn to be stubborn." and to shoplift. "I've never had the problem of looking like I can afford something. Usually I get thrown out of expensive stores." for shoplifting. . . .
