"He just seemed like the kind of mime who would take sunshine and happiness out of the world," he said seriously. "Also, he's a mime! Who cares if I beat up a mime?"

"Well, I don't, but someone might. Theoretically." Parker contemplated that, and shrugged. "Hey, as long as we're not going to have to bail you out of jail, I guess it's fine. Oooo. Great view." She grinned, leaning forward, making the car rock.

"No, the police are cool with mugging mimes, too," GOB said in an off-hand manner as he looked at the view. "Hey, that is nice. But try not to make the car rock so much, okay?"

Parker rolled her eyes and settled back, but grinned at the view again, enjoying the breeze as they rose and rose. "The police are okay with mime-mugging? I should visit New York more often, damnit."

"Yeah, but it's only worth it for the joy of beating up a mime. They don't have carry much money on them," GOB said, disappointed.

"I've been to New York a couple times before, but I've never had this much fun. Lorne really knows how to plan a trip."

Parker cocked an eyebrow at his comment on the profitability, then dryly noted, "Well, no. They're mimes. If they could do something else, they would. I can't imagine it's profitable."

She grinned. "Lorne rocks. And we haven't even gotten to the show yet. Whenever his birthday is? Count me in for organizing a bash."

"I'll put on the greatest show of illusions the world has ever seen for his birthday!" GOB said, the showman in him showing itself. "Of course, I have no clue when his birthday is. But if you find out, I'll be there."
