Xander is sitting near the untrustworthy residents of 212 who make him say bad things just to get into their room for the good chocolate people who would hopefully protect him from glitter, nailpolish, mustache-growing spells, makeup, Sharpies, and other such things. If he fell asleep. WHICH HE IS NOT. AT ALL. HE IS JUST RESTING HIS EYES.

God knows who'll protect him from them, of course.

{Player is afk for most of the daylight hours, but Xander's totally here, yup. and JUST RESTING HIS EYES. The people who can do horrible things to him if and only if they are so inclined know who they are. Granted, he also knows where they live.}

Parker is very glad Xander is resting his eyes. He needs his sleep.

Also, he'd probably have disputed that Night Blooming Madness was not his color, since the purple nail polish clashed with his complexion, and Parker didn't want to fight with him about that.

She debated decals on the polish while it dried. Daisies? No, that was for Anders. Stars? Hmm...

Rory smirked at Parker and pulled out her makeup bag.

She waggled her eyebrows as she pulled out some body glitter and gently swiped it over Xander's cheeks and browbones.

Because his bone structure really needed to be accented.

Parker gave her a grin and an enthusiastic nod, because yes, in fact, Xander looked much more ethereal with his cheekbones highlighted. Tapping her lower lip, she tried to think what else needed to be done. Maybe something with his hair? Or would he wake up?

Pulling out a tube of mousse, she decided the only way to tell would be to test it.

Rory dug through her bag and grinned gleefully when she unearthed some bright pink temporary (as in 'washing out that night,' not 'good for only six weeks') dye that Lane had passed on to her. She carefully squished a bit onto the brush and traced a magenta streak through the soft hair at Xander's temple.

When he didn't stir, she glanced up at Parker and grinned.

Parker returned the grin with interest and wickedness, and carefully styled Xander's hair into horns over his temple, leaving room for the pink streaks Rory was putting in. Humming contentedly, she got out her camera, and took a photo.

*FLASH*!

There, if that didn't cheer up Angel, nothing would.

Elizabeth bit her lip, trying not to snicker as she pulled out her camera to take a few shots of the "masterpiece" in progress.

Rory happily snapped a shot with her camera phone, and took a few of others on the bus, before busying herself with streaking Xander's hair.

And then she pulled out the matching lipstick.

Parker gave a thumb's up, and watched as Rory applied it. Hmm. Not quite a match, but... close enough.

*FLASH*

Marty flops down in one of the seats and dozes off. Angela is probably nearby also sleeping.

She's reading, actually.

Mostly.

About 45 minutes into the trip she gives up and falls asleep.

Pippi has opened up a chocolate frog and chases it around the bus.

Victor promptly snagged the frog with his tongue and snapped it into his mouth, enjoying the squirmy chocolatey goodness. He handed an unopened frog and handed it to Pippi in exchange. "Try again?" he said. Or, tried to with a mouthful of chocolate.

Pippi decides not to comment on the irony. "Thanks, do you want the card that came with it? I already have one of this Lockheart guy. I've also

"Nah, it's okay," Victor replied, still occupied with the chocolate. "Man, this stuff's good."

"Yes, you could almost say these frog things are magically delicious!"

[identity profile] anole-x.livejournal.com 2006-03-09 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
Victor giggled a tthat one, but had to clamp his hand over his mouth to stop from spraying any of the chocolate. "See what you almost made me do?" he joked when he had finally composed himself.

After taking a gulp of water to help clear his throat, he asked, "I don't have any on my face, do I?"

yes

"No." Said Pippi looking completely earnest.

"You sure?" Victor licked his lips, onlu managing to spead the chocolate more. "How about now?"

Zero climbed onto the bus and announced, "This is where we part ways. I'll see you guys next week," before climbing back off the bus, shouldering her backpack and picking up her suitcase, and heading for the train station.

[ooc: waitaminute, waitaminute stop the execution,

GMT is five hours ahead of EST.

The bus ride is (I've heard) two hours, thanks to the magic of HP.

So, 4 pm GMT = 11 am EST. +2 hours = arrives at Fandom at 1 pm EST.

6 pm EST = 11 pm GMT. 11 pm GMT - 4 pm GMT = bus ride of 7 hours, which is nearly the same as a standard flight from London to New York.

Is my math wrong? Is my understanding of the bus wrong? Or are the times wrong? *is confused. is almost done with dumb day at work, and despite seeing this post when she GOT TO WORK, is only just now noticing discrepancies. help*]

Re: OOC

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-03-08 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Your math is not wrong. We went *back* in time six hours to arrive in the early afternoon of March 4. We're going *forward* in time six hours to get back to Fandom High in the evening of March 8. Not only can it drive over water, it can go through time! All Hail the Knight Bus and *handwavey* abilities and plotting. Good catch, though.]
