Disneyland Paris, Wednesday

The island had been sitting out in Disney Lake for several days now. She had finally begun to calm, shaking off the last of the unsettling imprints that her previous destination had left on her. Music kept drifting from across the water, and occasionally tourists would stop to snap a picture of the pretty castle.

They never did look too closely, though.

It wasn't a long walk from Fandom to the actual park at all.

In fact, the stretch of the causeway encouraged anyone who walked on it to try it.

Main Street, USA

It's a little piece of 1900s small town USA in the middle of Paris. Take a ride on the railroad, grab a scoop of ice cream at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour, and check out the arcade!

Jeremy had handwavily been around Disneyland every day since the island had landed here, and today, it was Main Street's turn to be explored.

... Or, it would be, once he was done having this Firehouse Dalmatian Mint Sundae. Or maybe two. Shut up, it was good.

It was now Miley's fourth handwavy trip to Disney in only three days, and she was enjoying it immensely, thank you very much. She had bags full of souvenirs in each hand, and yes, that had also been happening every time she came here. Naturally, she needed some ice cream to give her energy for the rest of the day, so she sauntered into Gibson Girl to take care of that.

In badly-accented French, she chirped, "Bonjour!" at the cute guy sitting near her. Then she recognized him and laughed, "I mean, hey."

Jeremy gave her a bright, though slightly amused smile. "Bonjour," he greeted her back. His accent was actually surprisingly okay. "But hey is good too. Since we're technically in the States and everything. Even if it is the olden days."

"Right," Miley acknowledged, shooting him a thumbs-up. "Olden-day America in Paris in Maryland. This island is weird."

She peered at his ice cream, then glanced at the menu. "Oooh, what's that? It looks good."

"This is the..." He gestured at the menu with his spoon. "The, uh, Firehouse Dalmatian thing? With the mint chocolate chip ice cream. It's awesome. Maximum. Highly recommended."

"I'll take you up on that," Miley said with a smile, then put in the request to the next waitress who came around.

"So what brings you out to Disney?" she asked, batting her eyelashes in a meant-to-be-adorable sort of way. "You, uh, with anyone?"

She could be about as subtle as a rock, too.

Ryan had spent so little time in the U.S. that Main Street seemed rather foreign to her. But it was nice to stroll down the street, nibbling on an ice cream cone and checking out all the sights.

Fantasyland

This world of fairytales is wide and pretty, and full of attractions for the jaded Fandomite. Take the It's A Small World musical tour, or step on board the Dumbo the Flying Elephant Dino the Flapping Rhino flying tour!

As fun as it was to wander the park and try to force Jake on rides meant for toddlers, Caroline couldn't help remembering her last carnival experience. To hold the memories at bay, she dragged Jake down to Fantasyland in hopes the look on his face as they were surrounded by all things fairy tale would distract her.

So far, it was working. "We should go in one of the stores and get you a hat. Maybe one with a tiara," she teased, her arm hooked on his as they wandered. "You'd look pretty in pink."

"You come near me with pink and I'm making you go through the Small World ride fifteen times in a row," he protested. He could take a lot, but he drew the line at tiaras and pink.

She made a face at him, having expected that reaction. "You're so mean to me. Though I totally think we should go through the Small World again!" Especially when she could already sing it over and over for him. "It's a world of laughter a world of tears, it's a world of hopes and a world of fears, there's so much that we share that it's time we're aware it's a small world after all..." She was just going to keep singing till he made her stop.

Which didn't last very long before he was reaching over to try and cover her mouth. "You can go and I'll wait outside."

"Mrmphuh!" Caroline shook her head, trying to squirm away from his hand so she could keep tormenting him. Even with her mouth covered, she could keep humming the tune, though.

Such a dangerous song.

"Oh god, if I get that stuck in my head, I'm singing it the whole night," he threatened and seriously, it was already stuck. He stopped trying to cover her mouth though. "Don't they have anything with better songs? You know, ones that don't make me imaging creepy dolls everywhere."

If there was anyplace to find Annie at Disneyland, it was Fantasyland. It was just nice to wander around and see all the pretty things, and if she kept ducking into shops to see if mouse ears with a beret attached existed, well...

Frontierland

It's life on the frontier, but not as you may remember it from any of Fandom's travels. The legends of the Wild West surround you here, and you can get your kicks on Big Thunder Mountain or scare the life out of yourself at Phantom Manor if you're up for a thrill.

Adventureland

It's a world full of grand adventures, sailing with pirates and hurling yourself into great peril-- in a family friendly way, of course. Hop aboard!

Bo, as promised -- well, as maaaaaybe'd and then bounced and cajoled at -- had allowed herself to be dragged across the water once a complete inspection in a full length mirror showed not a single speck of gray on her. She was still doing the sunglasses thing, though; since her pupils hadn't shrunken to quite their normal size yet.

Mouse-ears, however? Not happening.

Kenzi was bopping along beside her, spinning and nearly dancing. "I am so glad you're non-homicidal and hot again. I bet we can get on the Ghost House ride for free!"

Bo snickered. "How about pirates?" She nodded toward the boat ride. "Not that we don't have plenty of our own on the island, but these probably won't try to pick our pockets."

Which was a good thing, right? Right. Sigh. Bo missed hot pickpocketing pirates.

Discoveryland
