As the sun gave way to the moon, the lights around the Big Island started coming on, brightening up the dark sky. Night falling just meant several new ways for the guests to enjoy themselves! A slight wind ruffled the palm trees but the temperature remained warm, making it comfortable enough to take long walks on the beach or just enjoy gazing up at the clear night sky.

There was still plenty to do, though! Nighttime activities were starting to swing into motion, music was wafting along the breeze, drawing people towards it's rhythmic sounds, and the smells of Hawaiian dishes were prevalent.

It was nighttime in Hawaii and the vacation had just begun!

Having spent most of her day tanning on the beach, Alex decided to stick with that theme and check out what the resort had to offer. After returning to her room to change (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/StargateAddict/Alex/Belongings/hawaiidress.jpg), she decided to check out the bar.

Finding a seat, she ordered a colorful, fruity drink (non-alcoholic, of course!) and was trying to figure out what appetizers to try.

"Hey Alex," Bruce said, approaching with his drink in hand. "Vacation treating you well so far?"

"Hi Bruce," Alex replied, with a smile. "Vacation is treating me very well, so far. I spent the day in the sun, surrounded by the surf and sand. How could I not love that? How about you?"

"No complaints. And it's starting to look even better up now that I've found a friendly face here," Bruce said.

"Is this your first time in Hawaii?" Bruce asked.

"It is. I've always wanted to see Hawaii firsthand and now, I'm here doing just that."

For a whole week. One of the reasons why she loved Fandom. "Have you been here before?"

"Just a brief stopover on my way back from Japan once," Bruce said. "And that was really an hour spent at the airport. It's much nicer this time around."

"Japan? Wow." Alex was impressed. "Now, you have time to actually see the island and what it has to offer," she added, smiling brightly. "I'm not sure I know a good place to start."

"I could think of worse places to start than right here with you," Bruce said, giving a smile.

Bruce decided to take a chance and started to lean in for a kiss. He was confident he was reading the situation correctly.

Bruce reached up to caress Alex's check as they kissed, sliding a little closer to the edge of his chair to get into it a little bit more.

After a few more moments, Bruce pulled back just enough to talk. "I don't know about you, but this is a little too public for me. Want to go somewhere with a little more privacy?"
