Momoko had arrived in her room, dumped her luggage on the bed closest to the patio... balcony... lanai... OCEAN! and then grabbed her camera and headed off to explore the hotel and see what the hotel restaurants and shops had to offer. All without having once seen or been told the name of her trip-roommate.

It was late when Momoko got back so she headed straight for the shower and to change into her pyjamas, wondering just when her roommate was going to show up.
