FH School Trip: Hampstead - Town residence of Roger Wyndam-Pryce

Roger probably doesn't pay taxes on his townhome [layout]. Anyone who can call that [photo] a townhome doesn't pay taxes.

The various teams approached as twilight fell, and took their positions.

"No dirty," Rory replied, shaking her head. "And let's all just hope that the hippies are getting stuff done," she added, adjusting the flower in her hair and diving headfirst back into her research.

"I think they're getting the job done." she said looking out the door and listening carefully.

Were those footsteps?

"... Mostly."

She closed the door, then crossed the room to the window and opened it.

"I think somebody's coming. I'm going see about distracting them. Be right back."

She crawled out on the ledge.

"Enjoy your book."

"Mmm," Rory replied distractedly, chewing on a pen as she sounded out Greek.

Pippi pulled herself up onto the roof and crawled over to a side window.

She peered over the edge to see exactly were the window was, it seemed to be already broken a little.

Ah well, since it was already broken... She turned around and grabbed the edge of the roof between her feet. Then dropped off and swung into the already broken window.

At some point, Rory glanced up, and noticed that Pippi was gone. Figuring she'd already left, Rory grabbed the books that had seemed most informative - including the one Xander had set aflame, shoved them into her bag (and one under her shirt) and beat a hasty retreat out into the hall.

Upon hearing the further breaking of glass in the not-library, the two servents that were in the hall burst into the not-library, just before Rory came out of the actual-library.

As they entered the seemingly empty room, Pippi came out from under a table.

She snuck up behind them and knocked their heads together. Giggling as they crumpled to the floor.

With the two sleeping servants stowed safely in a closet with a heavy bit of furniture blocking the door, Pippi returned to the library...

And found nobody.

"Oooookay." she said to herself.

Pippi passed the time by going around the room with her hanky and cleaning away any potential figerprints.

Shortly thereafter, Pippi gets a call back. (http://community.livejournal.com/fh_trips/5680.html?thread=629808#t629808)

"Got it. I'll grab what I can."

Pippi found the book with the peacock and gave it a tug. The bookcase swung open revealing a wall safe...

Hmmm, no combo. It could be trapped...

Pippi shrugged and yanked the safe out of the wall. She tossed it out the window and jumped out after it.

She stood up, wrapped the wall safe in her coat and scampered off.

"Parker? Pippi. Package aquired."
