Backpacking Trip: London Below, Monday
There was another Floating Market tonight, so today might not be the best to stuff yourself on Hob-Nobs and roast probably-chicken beforehand. Just your traveler's advisory for the day.
[OOC: For business, she is open!]

The House With No Doors - All Day
House - Dining Room
And yes, the roast chicken is really chicken. Door likes pigeons too much to eat them.
Speaking of pigeons, there's one pecking its way around the dining room today. Don't worry, it belongs there. It's also a robot, so you're not going to catch bird flu from it.
House - Library
Well, a century ago it was rich. Now it's a little cracked.
House - Pool
House - Bedrooms
Re: House - Bedrooms
She was in Fandom's library, wandering through the stacks, and somewhere down a long row, she could see Lee shelving books. She waved to him, smiling
(Somewhere a papery voice said, all that we see or seem is a dream within a dream)
and kept walking, past tall shelves, piled high with dark grimoires. Another row-- she was kissing Sam against a bookshelf, and Dinah hurried on even as she could still taste the coffee he'd been drinking on her tongue--
Through glass doors, gold gilt declaring SPECIAL COLLECTIONS, into a round foyer surrounded by curving bookshelves, circling around in a maze.
all libraries are one library
Looking for something. Looking for...?
Books. So many books. She felt stupid, never having read all these books, Barbara would have read them all.
A flash of glasses (Barbara?) and she followed the light off spectacles across a mosaic-inlaid spiral into another fold of bookshelves, another mahogany case holding volumes with titles like The Collected Works of Moriarty, Rheticus's Final Solution... Names she'd never heard of, wondering if she'd be required to read them in college.
Then she stopped in front of one small gold book, and stared.
Happily Ever After. By Dinah Lance.
She reached for the book.
And it fluttered through her fingers, falling to the floor. Then through it with a flash of light, lost.
The lights went out.
And there was something breathing in the library with her. Something that was breathing very, very loudly....
"Yah!"
And Dinah sat up straight in her bed, breathing as heavily as the Library... stalker, whatever.

The Tunnels on the Way to the Market
Most people shove past you as if they don't even see you, but there might be a few surprises out and about tonight.
Tunnels - the Locals
[AKA wait for the NPCs to ping in! Velvets, be good. The adventure where you get to be bad is tomorrow.]
Re: Tunnels - the Locals
One of them might be watching you with a speculative gaze.
Tunnels - Mind the Gap
Of course, if you choose to assume she just means don't fall onto the track, and get too close...well, there's a lesson to be learned.
[If you'd care to find out why, just stand too close and ping in OOC. And hope there's a rescuer nearby.]
The Floating Market
Within the bowels of the building, the arrangement of stalls might be different, but the bustle of people, the shouts of vendors hawking their wares, and the smells of food and, well, people, are the same jumble of excitement and confusion that they were on Saturday.
Floating Market - Tattoo and Piercing Artist
[Mod your service, or ping in OOC for an NPC!]
Floating Market - Curry (well, 'Cury') Stand
[Mod your own or... you know the drill. Ping in OOC for an NPC.]
Floating Market - Old Bailey's Birds & Information
[So wait for the man himself to ping in first!]
Floating Market - Blacksmith
[Mod your own or ping in le OCD for le NPC.]
Floating Market - Dreams By the Dram
Zydrate comesDreams come in little glass vials, to be drunk before bed. No refunds if you don't like the way they turn out, though.[Be modding your ooooown. Feel free to play out the effects later on; none of them will harm you, but they might not be exactly what you thought you were asking for, leaning toward the wacky or creepy, with maybe a side of Things You Don't Want To Admit When You're Awake.]
Re: Floating Market - Dreams By the Dram
"Fully true, luvvie. Pick a dream, it'll be yours. 'Tisn't pharms. Just charms."

Floating Market - Message Stall
If you sent a message off on Saturday, you might receive a reply here today.
[This one's definitely a mod-your-own, and it's where you get to not be incommunicado. Want to send a message back to Fandom? Home? Go for it. It'll arrive by pigeon, who'll wait for a reply then return with one, if there is one. So be sure to let the recipient know so they can handwave or mod the receipt, as they choose!]
Re: Floating Market - Message Stall
Once she did, though, she wasted no time in checking for a reply to the message she'd sent out.
The "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" when she was handed the little rolled strip of paper was so loud that Manders offered her the next one free if she'd just shut up.
She had, and one for Firekeeper as well, both at a leatherworker's stall. Arthur, as usual, was pretty much impossible, so she hadn't found anything for him yet.
Re: Floating Market - Message Stall
{Karla, Alligator Cabin, Fandom Island, MD, USA, W. Hemisphere, Earth-- Stuck in an Underground London city. No phones. Kinda awesome, after we avoided the first fight. Guests of FH alum. Looking for prezzies 4U! Write back, give to pigeon - <3 - Dinah, c/o House of the Arch, London Below}
Floating Market - Shop Amongst Yourselves
OOC
DragonMonster!Random Neverwhere Factoid #3: The mini-series sets up "Mind the Gap" and then never follows through, because the scene got cut. (Before or after filming, I'm not sure.) Oh BBC.
Re: OOC
And Dinah's standing by to grab anyone who gets waaaaay too close to that Gap.
