On closer inspection, the ... contents of the jar seem to be moving. Angela puts it back on the shelf with a shudder.

"I hope we don't get turned into hats or meerkats just by breathing the air here."

"Plus, if one of us just got turned into a hat, how would anybody know what had happened?"

Jaye covers her mouth with her hands and tries to hold her breath. Yes, it's seven-year-old behavior. She doesn't want to be a hat.

Angela registers what Jaye is doing. Her eyes hold a hint of laughter.

Then she realizes that the possibility of turning into a hat is way too close.

She pulls her scarf over her own mouth and beats a path out of the store. She'll wait for Rory and Xander there.
