"I blame Xander. He was holding her leash." Parker grinned, then rolled her eyes. "On the other hand, his friend Willow told us what we're looking for. Evidently they're an alley behind the pub where we can buy the stuff we need."

As if on cue, a familiar blonde in a bright blue suit that didn't look quite normal crossed in front of them and began to make her way into the pub.

Zero sighed and headed after the woman who was probably Professor Skeeter. "Professor Skeeter! Wait up! Um...please!"

Rita stopped dead in her tracks. Professor Skeeter? Oh, hell. That could only mean one thing.

She turned and smiled. "Why, hello, Ms. Hopeless-Savage," she said, glancing over Zero's shoulder at the group and sighing. "How...lovely to see you."

"Yes, of course, right, which is how I knew to even ask you, how silly of me...um. We have a problem, and we need to get into a place called Diagon Alley? And--um, someone--told us there's a pub near here that has the entrance. Do you know anything about that?"

Rita frowned. "All right, who told you, and why do you need in? Muggles aren't allowed, students or not."

"I...I don't actually know who told us. But Angel might die. We have to get in to find a cure. Er. What's a Muggle?"

"Non-magic person. And Angel...Callistie's friend?" Rita looked mildly alarmed. "You need in to save him? What about the doctors?"

"Oh, well, um, have you seen our school? I don' think any of us qualify as 'non-magic' any more. What's wrong with Angel, it's some kind of magic poison, you see. 'Cause of he's a vampire and normal ones wouldn't work on him. So...yeah. Will you please help us?"

Rita weighed her options, and sighed. "Come along, then," she said, rolling her eyes and leading the way into the pub.

"'lo Tom," she said with a quick wave. "These are a few of my students. From the American school I told you about." A toothless man behind the bar smiled at the group.

Rita led the way to the back, where there was a brick wall. She pulled out her wand and tapped a series of bricks, and the wall split, revealing a busy street.

She turned back to Zero. "All right, that's Diagon Alley," she said quietly. "Stay away from Knockturn Alley if you can, as it's dangerous. But you should be able to find what you need at the apothecary, I'd think. And when you're done, you get out through here again.Best of luck."

And with that, she disappeared into the crowd.

"Hang on, let's figure out who's looking for what." Parker stopped in the middle of the street, stared around a second, then went, "Whoa. Okay. We need a Bezoar Stone and unicorn horn shavings, and we need them quickly. We'll all look for them, but who wants the apothecary, and who wants this 'Knockturn Alley'?"

Xander raised a hand. "I'll take the apocatheor--um. Drugstore. But get I get in a quick 'Bezoar Stone WTF?' Because where I come from bezoars are freaky little brainsucking monsters that like to hide in your double-fresh Grade A eggs. Please tell me we're not looking for something that came out of one of those?"
