Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Nightlife]

The temperature might be cooler now that the sun had gone down, but the action in the Bahamas was just starting to heat up. Would it be a night for the nightclub? Drinking? Gambling? People-watching? It was all up to the Fandomites to decide what to do from the still endless possibilities.

Aura Nightclub

Aura (http://www.atlantis.com/thingstodo/entertainment/auranightclub.aspx) is raised off the casino floor where a grand staircase leads into the Nightclub. DJs spin, illuminating the glass dance floor which is surrounded by banquette seating. Two bars, two VIP sections and a private VIP Parlour complete this intimate experience.

After having a great time swimming with the sea lions, Harper decided to give the nightclub another shot. This time, she got all decked out.

The bouncer wouldn't stop laughing. He also wouldn't let her in.

Unlike poor Harper, Hannibal got in easily. And while there would be no dancing from this particular guy, there would be plenty of relaxing, plenty of imbibing and plenty of staying up way too late so he could sleep in tomorrow.

Dinah was ready to dance tonight, and was spinning on the floor, swaying to the music oh high heels. Not drinking yet, because hey, dancing had to happen first!

Didi spun over to Dinah, a good seven inches shorter once the heels were taken into account but dancing just as hard. "You look awesome!"

She hadn't been drinking yet. It just felt like that kind of night.

"Thank you!" Dinah beamed at Didi. "You're looking really great too! Why don't we have a dance club back home?" Because really, as much fun as she was having on this trip, she might never leave if she kept making comparisons.

Dinah snickered, and twirled around with excitement. "Do you think it'd be too cold? Otherwise, we should so offer them a trip up north. They're smart! They'll want to visit!"

Yeeeah, where it was that cold, not so likely.

Completely possible!... just, sadly not the case. Dinah's expression reflected that as she said, "Nooo. I mean, I have no idea if they understood. I maybe babbled a little about how cool they were when I went to the dolphin cove yesterday." She grinned. "Now I want to speak dolphin!"

Ooo. Maybe Tony or Karla would have a spell?

"Yes!" Dinah imitated Didi's spin, then added an extra shimmy to it, disco diva'ing for all she was worth. "Sun, swimming, sand, swimsuits!" She snickered and spun again. "And guys who look good in them. Scenery!"

The banquette seating was right up Clark's alley. Sitting and watching the dancing was far more his speed than actually attempting the dance. At least without his old class ring to help him out.

Didi talked her way past the bouncer again and got out on the dance floor. She wasn't a great dancer, but that didn't stop her from trying.
