Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Nightlife]

The temperature might be cooler now that the sun had gone down, but the action in the Bahamas was just starting to heat up. Would it be a night for the nightclub? Drinking? Gambling? People-watching? It was all up to the Fandomites to decide what to do from the still endless possibilities.

Royal Towers

Aura Nightclub

Aura (http://www.atlantis.com/thingstodo/entertainment/auranightclub.aspx) is raised off the casino floor where a grand staircase leads into the Nightclub. DJs spin, illuminating the glass dance floor which is surrounded by banquette seating. Two bars, two VIP sections and a private VIP Parlour complete this intimate experience.

On one hand, Ziva knew that she should be a good role model for the students and behave herself on this trip. But on the other hand, the bartender had offered to make her a drink that would glow in the dark and really, how could she say no to that?

These kids were beyond the need for role models, but Ronon wasn't beyond the need for a strong drink...that apparently had a sword in it. Whatever, it was strong and he sat on a swing to drink it. He made it manly.

After having a great time swimming with the sea lions, Harper decided to give the nightclub another shot. This time, she got all decked out.

The bouncer wouldn't stop laughing. He also wouldn't let her in.

After a night spent at the club, Bod found himself wanting quieter, more intimate setting. And, while he wasn't much of a drinker, the bar seemed like the place to do that.

He found a spot tucked away where he could stretch out in a chair with a good view of the water and the people while he sipped on a bottle of water.

Ellie was back at the beach bar tonight, still preferring a more relaxing atmosphere. She ordered a drink and prepared for a night of people watching.

Summer was back at the bar, contemplating ordering another rum collins. The bartender had offered to make her one and if she felt the need for a second drink, it would be something tropical. Possibly pink.

Summer couldn't pass that up.

All right, this wasn't a new bar but it'd proven pretty effective in getting him drunk so Alex decided that showing up here twice couldn't hurt. Considering he was well on his way to intoxication, it was becoming pretty apparent he didn't care where he got trashed on this vacation.

Unlike poor Harper, Hannibal got in easily. And while there would be no dancing from this particular guy, there would be plenty of relaxing, plenty of imbibing and plenty of staying up way too late so he could sleep in tomorrow.

Dinah was ready to dance tonight, and was spinning on the floor, swaying to the music oh high heels. Not drinking yet, because hey, dancing had to happen first!

The banquette seating was right up Clark's alley. Sitting and watching the dancing was far more his speed than actually attempting the dance. At least without his old class ring to help him out.

Room 655

There were bars outside, sure. (Which were lame when you were sixteen and looked it and no one ever was going to let her through, no.) There were restaurants, yes. (Which were boooring unless you had company.)

There were stores. (Which Ino had wandered through, idly, then decided she had better things to spend her money on.) There was the beach. (Which got distinctly less fun as the sun went down.)

And then there was Ino, curled up on one of the beds and reading from a scroll.

... Ino was awesome at vacation. Really.

Jack was feeling almost cheerful as he settled in at a low-stakes blackjack table, cognac at his elbow. He'd probably win a little, lose a little, and come out where he'd started, but he liked the game of it all.

Taking that week and a half off was proving painful to Rose as she dealt with the effects of rock climbing most of the day.

She found a lounge chair and a drink and so wasn't moving.

Rory still wasn't back to old drinking shape after having Juliet (...not that she'd ever been anything but a lightweight), so she was slowly nursing an amaretto sour as she took in the various people around the bar.

Didi talked her way past the bouncer again and got out on the dance floor. She wasn't a great dancer, but that didn't stop her from trying.

Aravis wasn't much for gambling, normally, but it wasn't as though she didn't have enough money to spend.

Besides, throwing dice (she'd not yet learned the name of this game) was somewhat fun, and it kept her mind off of things.

Tara wasn't a bar person at all, but it seemed to be where everyone else was so she'd give it a go. She ordered a soda and hunched forward, smiling vaguely as if she expected to get carded and was thrilled she hadn't been.
