Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

"I understand," said Hoshi, nodding. "I already put on my sunscreen before getting dressed. It seemed easier to do that without anything in the way."

Hurley nodded. "Yeah. That way you don't end up with weird tan lines and stuff," he said. "So, you really just gonna spend your time reading out here, huh?"

"Maybe? I heard that there was a casino here. I shouldn't let my poker skills get rusty," said Hoshi. "And do they really let you swim with dolphins?"

"I will totally go play poker with you," Hurley said. "As for the dolphins, I got no idea. I mean, it sounds cool. We could always check it out."

He may have been trying to turn this into a not-date.

"And you know what's missing from last year's spring break?" asked Hoshi as they reached the beach. She paused to take her sandals off so she could walk in the sand. "No one's gotten married yet. We should do something about that."

Hurley blinked a few times. "We should?" he said, unable to do anything but stare for a second.

His brain had short-circuited.

"See, Annja was so helpful with scouting out the wedding chapel last year. Between the two of us, we managed to find all the weddings taking place and record most of them," said Hoshi. "Maybe you could take the bars and I could watch the casinos tonight? And then we'd contact each other if someone spots a wedding."

Hey, it was a perfectly normal activity that Hoshi would plan with her female friends.

"Ohhhhh," Hurley said, actually breathing a sigh of relief. "I guess we could." Though that meant splitting up and going separate places. But, he thought, it might endear himself some more. So it was worth a shot.

"Deal. We should come up with codenames."

"Mine could be Ears," suggested Hoshi, grinning.

"I'll be Nose," Hurley joked. "Now we just have to find someone to be Throat..."

He started laying out the blanket in a good spot.

"That should probably be someone really loud. Any ideas?" asked Hoshi, setting her bag down. She reached to untie the knot of her sarong.

"I don't think Katina will join us," Hurley joked. "There's always Ino, I guess..."

"Do we really need another person, though?" asked Hoshi, taking off her sarong and neatly folding it. The bikini underneath was brand new, purchased specifically for this trip.

After his brain did another hard reboot, and Hurley managed to at least make it so he didn't look like he was staring, he replied. "Nah. We can just keep it to the two of us. So how about I go with 'Eyes' instead?"

"Eyes? Are you going to be watching everything?" asked Hoshi.

Yes. Yes he was.

"Everything I can," Hurley said. "After all, gotta spot the potential weddings, right?"
