Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

Whatever else Max was, he still had Cursor training. Not that he needed it to notice 'Dite rather early on. She did stand out abit, after all. Even on a beach like this one.

But he didn't give any sign of it. He'd let her admire the view. It wasn't like he minded.

No, she didn't think he minded. The smile stayed on her face for several minutes before she became a little bored.

He's just standing there! Do something, Max!

A moving body was even better than a standing body. Especially his. That was 'Dite's opinion.

If he could read her mind, Max gave no sign of it. But he did stretch boredly. The scars criss-crossing his back stretched impressively along with his massive muscles.

Someone was starting to get impatient.

Oh, yes. Oh. That was what Aphrodite wanted to see.

Stretch again, Max.

Her eyes traced a path across his skin, and when her fingers itched to follow it, she moved away from the tree and approached.

"Well, hey, handsome. Are you waiting for anyone in particular?"

"No one in particular," he chuckled as he grinned over at her. "But I suppose you'll do." Max reached out to settle an arm across her shoulder to make sure she didn't take him too seriously.

Running a hand across his back, 'Dite grinned at him. "You were up early. Don't you know it's not nice to leave a woman alone in bed? Even if you did arrange for breakfast."

She kissed his shoulder. "Have I ever told you how good you look when you're half naked?"

"Half naked?" Max repeated thoughtfully. "I don't know if you've mentioned that one." He leaned over and pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

"And I just had a few things to take care of." Nothing for her to be suspicious about, of course!

Aphrodite smiled. "You had things to take care of. Before noon?" The smile got bigger. "In the Bahamas?" And now she was smirking. "Where you know no one. Right. What are you up to?"

Suspicious? No.

"Do I have to be up to something?" Max asked innocently. "Maybe I just wanted to stand around on the beach."

Yeah. Right.

"And you do that very, very well." She smiled at him. "So what are we doing today?"

Obviously they weren't staying in bed, and she tried not to be disappointed by that.

"Well, I might have an idea or two..." Max allowed. "But I'm not sure if you'd be interested..."

He shrugged nonchalantly. "I managed to rent a small sailboat."

"Ahh! Sailing! I love sailing!" 'Dite clapped her hands. "How small? Two person, or are we going to be crowded?" She wasn't sure if she should hope for this or not. "Who's captain? When do we get to go?"

The questions should run out aaaaany minute now.

"I'm not clear on the details, but I was assured that two people should be able to handle it just fine... as foccaptain... Well, I certainly don't know how to sail."

"Ooh! I do! I do! Can I be Captain? Pleeeeease?" She batted her eyes at him for good measure.

"Hmmm..." Max pretended to think about it. "I don't know... is there anyone more qualified going?" The answer was no.

"Maaaa-aax! You just said you didn't know how to sail!" She poked him in the side with her finger. "Are you going to look for someone else? Or put yourself in my hands?"

The look she gave him was half daring and half come-hither. She was totally prepared to play dirty. Not that that was unusual for Aphrodite.

"Well, I suppose you can be the captain. But you'll have to wear one of those adorable hats."

"Over this gorgeous hair?" She pouted for a just a moment. "Okay, but it's gonna cost you."

"It is, is it?" Max smiled over at her, lightly trailing his fingers through her hair. "And just what is it going to cost me?"

She smiled. "A kiss and an 'Aye, Captain'." Aphrodite winked, then zapped a captain's hat into her hand. "Not putting it on until you say it."

"Aye, captain," Max laughed before leaning in to kiss her.
