As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

Water's Edge

Up early again, Jaina spent a good part of her morning at the fitness center before getting clean and heading down for breakfast. Getting a plate from the buffet, she found a nice spot not far from the water where she could watch the rays.

Lagoon Bar and Grill

Before making his daily trip to the beach, Hannibal stopped off at one of the open air restaurants for a drink and some breakfast. Of course, once he'd gotten comfortable sitting outside, his trek to the beach kept getting put off til later.

He'd make it out there eventually. It was just too nice and too freaking gorgeous to move right now.

Rock Climbing

Makita had been finding herself endlessly fascinated by the sharks on this trip, but today she was taking a bit of a break and going for some rock climbing.

Rose had been being good for the first part of the week, but if she didn't start doing something, she was going to explode.

The rock climbing area sounded good after what Kennedy had said and she recognised the Fandom girl currently climbing.

"How is it?" she asked, trying to make sure she didn't startle the girl.

Makita leaned back in her harness, flipping herself sideways to regard the girl on the ground (much to the gibbering terror of the NPC supervisor).

"Well, they make you wear the harnesses," she replied, wrinkling up her nose. "But it's still pretty cool."

Rose snickered, not unaware of the freakout on the ground.

"Go over to the bouldering cave," she tilted her head towards it. "And they won't make you wear the harnesses at least. Even if you don't go as high."

Harper wasn't sure what was more enjoyable, the buffet breakfast or watching the manta rays in the lagoon. Either way, this more than made up for not getting into the club last night.

Biff was entertaining himself by seeing just how exotic he could make his pasta requests for the put-upon chef who was working that station.

"Do you have cuttlefish?" he was asking.

Murray's Deli

Chuck's hair was still a little damp from his morning in the pool when he found himself a table in the Deli. It was probably a pretty normal around here, he figured. Everyone was either about to go into or had just got out of the water.

All that swimming, enough to make a guy hungry, which made him especially glad he'd organised lunch with Ellie today. What were the chances he could steal some of her leftovers?

After spending a little time relaxing on the beach, Ellie made her way over to the deli.

"Hey," she greeted, taking a seat at the table. "Are you enjoying vacation so far?"

"What's not to love?" Come on. It's was undeniably gorgeous here. "Sunshine, good food, full gaming arcade!" Boy had his priorities.

"I figured you are spending some time at the arcade," Ellie said. "Just as long as you are getting out into the sun, too."

Yes, even on vacation, she was going to be in big sister mode.

"That does prove you were in the sun, yeah," Ellie said with a grin. "This is such an awesome vacation. I think we needed something like this, huh?"

"It's amazing," Chuck had to agree, snagging the menu and offering a second one to Ellie. "Did you swim with dolphins yet?" He had to think she'd go for that at some point or another.

"I did! That was pretty amazing. I may do that again. Or maybe walk with sharks next," Ellie said, taking the menu. "You should try it. At least the swimming with dolphins."

"Dolphins, yes... Sharks I think I'll leave to someone a lot braver than me." Chuck had no qualms about admitting he was a bit of a wimp.

"I prefer my large people-eating creatures at a good safe distance." Funnily enough.
