Atlantis Resort - Tuesday [Nightlife]

Once the sun had gone down at Atlantis, it was time for the real fun to begin. The DJs had their music prepared, the bar was fully restocked, and the casino was more than ready to take everyone's money. Tonight would not be the night to go to bed early...unless you had someone to join you.

"I might," Hurley said. "It depends on when Mr. Cluck's wants me back. If they want me back. But once I find a job back home, that's where I gotta go. Have to help my mom pay the rent and stuff."

"I can agree with that," Sookie sighed. "I'm going home once I graduate, too, to help out my grandmother. Not that she'll let me call it that, but you know what I mean."

Hurley nodded. "Yeah. I just hope I can work hard enough to give my Grandpa Tito a break. You know the only time he's ever taken a vacation was when he got his pacemaker?"

"Well, if there's ever an excuse to take a break," Sookie sighed, "that's gotta be it."

"Yeah, no kidding," Hurley said. "So you live with your grandma back home, right? What's she like?"

He figured he should get to know Sookie a little better.

"She's great," Sookie said sincerely. "My grandfather passed on a couple years back, but she's been raising me and Jason since I was seven. And if you met Jason while he was here -- well, he's a handful."

"She sounds pretty awesome," Hurley said. "I can only imagine what would happen if you got her in a room with my mom. They'd probably get along really well. And they'd probably trade embarassing stories about us before we could get them apart."
