Kellerman's Resort, Saturday Evening, October 17th

It was the last night of a magical week here at Kellerman's. It could only be hoped that everyone had the time of their lives. That they'd never felt this way before.

But we swear it's the truth.

And they owe it all to the wonderful camp for putting up with everyone's shenanigans. Bobby.

"Hello, Mat," Raven said, spotting him as she skirted the edges of the party. She still didn't having "mingling" down at all.

"I have enjoyed my week," Raven said, giving him a smile. "Though the dancing they do here is quite different from what you taught me."

"Well, yes," Mat said. The Women's Circle would swallow their tongues if they saw this. "It's fun, though."

"I've learned this week," he said, winking. "The women who work here were very glad to teach me."

"It's a bit like what I was showing you, just a lot closer together," Mat said, leading her to a spot a bit out of the way.

"I think I will be able to manage that," Raven murmured. "It is pleasant to be close to you."

"I thought you might," he said with a laugh, wrapping his hands around her waist and pulling her a little closer.

Definitely different from the dancing they had done before, not that Raven was complaining at all. "Where do I place my hands?" she asked, not without a blush.

"Shoulders, I believe," Mat said, glancing around at the other dancers. It was either their or his rear end and that might be a little...soon.

"Like this?" Raven said, moving her hands to his shoulders. The weather was chilly outside but she was feeling awfully warm right now.

"Good," Mat said, shifting his hips a little. Most of the women he knew back home would be swallowing their tongues.

Raven wasn't swallowing anything yet not dirty omg, but her eyes did get a little wider. "And I am to follow your movements?" she said, moving her hips as well.

Mat nodded. "Just follow the beat," he said. "The steps don't really matter."

"I will do my best," Raven said. Being pressed so close to Mat was making her heart race, but she wasn't in any hurry whatsoever to put any distance between them.

And the closeness was pretty much the point of the dancing, so Mat wasn't going to complain.

He wasn't Patrick Swayze in terms of knowing how to make this look effortless, but he was getting there.

Raven did her best to follow his movements, watching some of the other dancers out of the corner of her eye to see what they were doing as well. She did adjust her hands, sliding them behind Mat's neck. She didn't think he would mind.
