Kellerman's Resort, Saturday Evening, October 17th

It was the last night of a magical week here at Kellerman's. It could only be hoped that everyone had the time of their lives. That they'd never felt this way before.

But we swear it's the truth.

And they owe it all to the wonderful camp for putting up with everyone's shenanigans. Bobby.

"Beats the waltz by quite a lot," Mat agreed.

"That dance is not as energetic" -- or stimulating -- "as this?" Raven said.

"Not even close," Mat said.

"I think I would like this one better, then," Raven said. "I like that it invokes emotions." She just had to be careful to not let herself get overwhelmed by the strong emotions around her.

"Oh, the waltz involves emotion," Mat said, laughing. "Normally ones to try to keep yourself from falling asleep."

Raven laughed as well. "I do not think I could possibly fall asleep during this dance," she said.

"I'd be doing something really bloody wrong, if so," Mat replied.
trigons_child: (Checking you out)

"And I also cannot imagine falling asleep in your company," Raven agreed.

Mat winked. "I can think of a few ways that might happen," he said. "But dancing isn't involved."
trigons_child: (Sideways half-smile)

Raven blushed. A lot. "And are you as good at those kind of things are you are at dancing?" she said.

"Yes," Mat said. Modestly.

"Why am I not surprised?" Raven said with a laugh.

"Because I only work hard on things that are useful," Mat said.

"You have an interesting definition of useful," Raven said lightly. "Some would not necessarily agree that dancing and kissing and...other things are as useful as other skills."

"If I allowed myself I believe I could fall madly in love with you," Raven said with a soft smile. But she knew that would be a bad idea.

"I know," Raven said. "And I will not let it happen." She began to draw away. "But it is getting late, and I should return to my room so I am ready to leave tomorrow. And you undoubtedly have a dozen other girls who are jealous that I have kept you from them," she finished teasingly.

Mat leaned a finger out to bop her on the nose. "Only one or two," he corrected.
