Disneyland [Day Three]

It was another beautiful day in Anaheim. Some morning clouds will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon with a high 87F.

There might be some clouds in the Fandomites hotel rooms this morning however. When folks awoke, they would find notes informing them that they needed to bring the kids to the LAX terminal to catch their portals home at the end of the day.

[wait for ocd up! have fun!]

Don't think Jen couldn't get into any trouble all by herself. Someone had researched Disneyland a little too thoroughly and was going to spend all day trying to find every single hidden Mickey (http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Disneyland/) in the park.

Oh, don't think she wouldn't.

There weren't too many on Main Street, though, which didn't stop her from going around politely excusing herself to people sitting on benches or waiting in line at the train depot, so she could get a little closer and peer at the design on a fencepost.

Or using her visual scanners to zoom out and get a wide-angle.

This was SERIOUS BUSINESS. Fun serious business, granted.

Veronica was only a tiny bit disappointed about saying goodbye to her kids. She was so not mom material right now, but she knew that these kids would never be reality for her.

She actually had all four with her this morning and their first stop was Main Street for disposable cameras and Mickey ears.

"Mommy! Let's get mouse ears for Daddy!" Kaitlin suggested.

"Uncle Angel would never wear them," Richie insisted, grinning and showing off his fake fangs (which Veronica had not noticed him wearing until after they left the hotel).

"Can I get a set for my dad too?" Vanessa asked. "The ones with the red Minnie bows."

Veronica smirked at the mental images of Angel and Deadpool wearing mouse ears.

"We can get them for all of your dads," she promised. She also planned to get a set for Dick.

"My daddy already has some," Keely piped up. "We come to Disneyland a lot."

"So do we!" Kaitlin said. "But my daddy can't usually come with us."

"I'm gonna be a vampire like your daddy!" Richie proclaimed.

"Oh, no you're not," Veronica said, certain that her other self would concur with that assessment.

The shops had been calling Chloe's name, and she'd finally succumbed to look for souvenirs to bring home. She was also looking for more batteries for her camera. Somehow, she'd run the old ones down yesterday.

Mike figured that if it was his last day with his alternate universe daughter, then it was the perfect opportunity to buy lots of souvenirs for her to take home. They emerged from one of the Main Street shops, loaded down with mouse ears, plush dolls, and lanyards with trading pins.
