Arrakis - Sietch Tabr - Wednesday Morning & Afternoon

It was around dawn when the scent of food began wafting up from the kitchens. Fresh baked bread, coffee, and the lilting tones of Fremen chattering in a mixture of Galach and Chakobsa as they went about their lives.

If they were a bit more outgoing and less-wary of the visitors than they had been the day before, well, going out into the desert to meet with Shai-Hulud had shown a certain daring and respect, and those were two traits that the Fremen held very dear.

The portal would arrive to pick them all up around three, but until then, the visitors from Fandom had the run of Tabr.

Although it still didn't make you safe from the Aunties.

"I'm sure we can make room," Eleanor grinned, scooting over for Dinah to sit. "How have you been liking the trip?"

"I've loved it," Dinah said sincerely. Even with the nightmares, although yesterday's bounding enthusiasm was now tempered somewhat. "Rock climbing, the sandworm ride, just seeing all the caverns of the city-- it's been awesome." She smiled. "You? What's your fave?"

"I think the gardens and the underground resovior. I wasn't brave enough to try worm riding," she added.

Dinah winced a little bit, thinking of the gardens, then said, "I loved riding the sandworm, really. It was a little scary getting on and off of it, 'cause it's not like it was going to slow down, but-- it was great." She waved to the 'thopter. "And one more rush before we head home."

"Rush?" She hoped that didn't mean the thoppter would go at incredibly fast speeds. She wanted to see stuff, you know.

Eleanor noticed the wince. "Everything all right?"

Dinah rubbed her temples. "Headache. I didn't sleep well last night." She gave Eleanor a lopsided smile. "Something in the air, maybe. And rush-- well, I don't know if it'll go *really* fast, but still! Fast enough?"

"I have some bit of tea with me. If you like, you could see if that helps." Tea was an essential travel item as far as Eleanor was concerned.

"Well, as long as it doesn't go too fast."

"Normal tea?" Dinah checked warily. "Not tea from around here, right?"

What an odd question. "But of course. One of the blends I made a while back."

"Thank you," Dinah said, then looked rueful. "Um, the Spice tea last night gave me nightmares, I think. I'd rather not chance it again."

"I didn't notice anything particularly odd about it. But I have some yarrowroot lemon tea that might help with the headache."

"That would be cool," Dinah said gratefully. "Uh. Anyway. Yay, thopter?"

"Yay thopptr," she agreed with a grin.
