The Crown Princess/Fandom - Sunday [Cabins, Ship, and Causeway]

All good things must come to an end, and sadly, it was time to say goodbye to the Crown Princess. The crew was hard at work readying the ship for its arrival back at port, and the cruise director assured the passengers that they were still on schedule to disembark at noon.

The weather was still warm and sunny, for those who wanted to take one last dip in the pool or soak in the hot tub before it was time to leave. The ship would be thoroughly checked to make sure there were no stowaways later.

Worf was sound asleep. Happily so. For once he had gotten to the room before the sexcapades of his roommate had forced him out.

And so he was still sleeping. Sound asleep. Completely unaware of his environment.

Which quite frankly is not befitting a warrior.

Toby, who had returned in the night, snuggled in closer. He loved the feel of a warm body early in the morning.

He'd woken up this way most days during the past week, why would this last morning be any different?

Being awake, showered, and packed somehow led to Adora flopping back on her bed, wanting to cling to vacation for as long as possible.

"Maybe I'll go sit outside until we leave," she announced.

Rodney was trying to pack. It was amazing how his stuff seemed to be all over the place after only a week. "Get in as much sun as you can, right? Who knows when we'll see it again back on the island."

Mac just so happened to look sideways as she collected things off the floor, otherwise she might not have even noticed her roommate. Unfortunately for Jen, her observational skills really weren't too bad.

Ender was packing what little he'd brought on the trip with careful precision. His clothes were folded, his books were put in a neat pile, and the droid came to sit on top of it.

He couldn't really think of anything he'd want to do on the ship, so when he was finished, he just sat down.

Turtle had already done it about four times, but she was going through a checklist for the fifth to make sure she had everything packed and wouldn't forget a thing. It had happened so many times because each time she went out to the balcony to just enjoy the last remains of her time on the boat, she got worrying about business and the like and went to check things again.

Although he was only halfway (if that) through his packing, Cal was sprawled out, all limbs and slimness, belly-down on his bed, his pen working furiously at his notebook, as if speedily trying to spew out all the bits of inspiration still left in Cal's head before the bright waters and warm salty breezes were too far behind.

After the ship was docked, there was a short bus ride to the portal that had been put up to bring everyone back to the causeway.

Oh, did we mention the weathermen were calling for snow in the evening?

Brooke wasn't sure why she had dread going back to Fandom. For some reason she had this irrational fear that she was going to end up walking into a zombie wasteland. Which was silly, she knew.

Jen had elected to change into her uniform and keep her spy Oakleys visual scanners engaged for the walk back down the causeway. She was walking at the fastest clip her hangover would allow, hoping that no one would even try to talk to her at all about what had happened yesterday.

One question, though, which might have been mentioned somewhere but it is entirely possible that I've totally missed- About what time of day are we all arriving back on the causeway? Both of my boys work Sundays, and I'm trying to figure out if they'd be able to go to their respective jobs today or not. Thanks!
