The Crown Princess - Tuesday [Rooms and Lido Deck]

The ship was at sea all day today, but that wasn't going to stop the fun. The sun was still shining brightly in the sky, dousing sunbathers in its heavy rays, and the water looked positively azure along the sides of the boat.

The Lido deck remained open for summer joy, with little umbrellas in every drink.

"My grandfather was a lawyer," he explained. "He sort of passed the interest down. It's just a passing interest. Something I dabble in."

"That's awesome, Lee. Seriously. To even know what your grandfather did," she said. Amber didn't know her grandparents and her ma was a beautician. She didn't want to take care of hair for the rest of her life, even as a passing interest.

"Well, he brought a book too," he said. "I gave it to Adah awhile ago so I had that as sort of a...documentation of what he did."

Amber finally stood, stretched up on the balls of her feet (and yes, she was dressed decently modest in shorts and a t-shirt) and smiled at him. "I need coffee, donuts, and then my bikini and I am set for the day!"

"I'm gonna be a little slower but I'll be out there soon," he said. "And then I won't be back in here till later."
