The Crown Princess - Monday [Cabins and Lido Deck]

It was a beautiful day in the Caribbean! The sun was bright in the cloudless sky, casting no shadows on the open section of the Lido deck: Sunbathers beware. Luckily, the Horizon Court offered umbrellas at some tables for the sun shy.

Near the pools were large lettered signs discouraging guests from diving or jumping into the water due to the lack of depth.

She stuck her tongue out at him and adjusted her top. "Pfft. My belly wants to be tan too," she said, grinning.

She might have known he'd take a fatherly role.

"They have tanning booths for that. Nice and cozy, relaxing," not to mention less wandering eyes. "And you don't even have to get wet," he finished with a flourish.

"I love getting wet," she said, laughing. "And look around! I don't see any other girls in one pieces. I hate one pieces."

Besides, he certainly didn't mind seeing Abby Irene in a bikini. Or any of the other adult ladies for that matter. It was just that with her...

He smirked, "Just tell me to stop being an overprotective worry wart."

"Actually, I like you being an overprotective worry wart," she said, smiling at him. "I know you care that way. And at least you didn't tell me what ma does. If I take my top off get paid for it first. I kind of like romping around in a bikini."

Sometimes he wonderd about her Ma. Not to mention Loretta. The less said about her the better, oh my god.

Yah, he still wasn't over that.

"I would never tell you that Amber," he assured her with a slight smile. "Ever. And I suppose you're fine in a bikini. Reckon you can make the boys jealous that way."

He just grinned. "I'd bet you'd be surprised. A decent boy don't tell a girl such things directly ya know."

Well...maybe or maybe not. Depended upon the boy in question.

"Hey! That's fightin' dirty!" he protested.

But he grinned right before he sent a wave of water her direction.

"All's fair in love and war!" he hollered before swimming away, tempting her to chase him.

Oh! She did chase him too! That sigh had totally fooled him though so she was proud of that.

She reached out to try and grab a foot.

He let her catch him and turned quickly to try to tug her down under the water.

This was fun! Who cared if he was acting like a kid?

He managed quite easily but she was wiggly and tried to slip free.

It was fun and it was supposed to be! Spring Breaks meant he could act like a kid all he wanted.

Not that he was ever fully in a right state of mind to begin with.

"I suppose at the time I was , but that was the alcohol talkin'," he added quickly.

"...just don't tell her I said that. She'd probably skin me alive."
