Endor [Tuesday, December 30]

Luke, sadly for those who were not, was totally a morning person. As soon as the sun rose above the horizon, he was up, trying to get everyone ready for another day of hut building and bridge hanging.

There was breakfast and really ~~awful~~ strong coffee, and then the hike back to where they'd been working all of yesterday.

Luke would understand if people took breaks to explore today. Three solid days of manual labor is no vacation.

"It's been a rough couple weeks," she shrugged. "But I'm keeping my new made-up memory."

"Would a hug help?" he asked, not pushing.

"I can't believe I haven't gotten one yet anyway," she grinned.

"Clearly I've been amiss in my uncling," he said, moving to give her a tight squeeze.

"I'll forgive you this time," she assured him, hugging him back.

"I'm glad you could come," he said, not really pulling back. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you, too," she said. "And I was glad I was able. We just got back on Friday. I almost missed it."

"I'm glad you did," he said. "Endor makes everything better."

"Does Endor have a tourist board?" she asked, pulling back. "You could pitch that."

"I think they've forgotten about that," he said. "I don't think they even make money off of all the stuffed Ewoks."

"That doesn't seem right. I'm sure it could go towards helping them out somehow," she frowned.

"I'll mention it to your mom," Luke said. "It'll be fixed in no time."
