Luke, a tall golden droid, and the Ewok chief Chirpa, were waiting for the volunteers when the portal finally deposited everyone on Endor. "Welcome," Luke said, giving them all a smile, "and thank you in advance for your help."

He gestured to the Ewok. "This is Chief Chirpa, the leader of Bright Tree Village, where we'll be staying for the next few days." Chirpa bowed to them, then spoke a few words. The droid shuffled forward to translate. "Chief Chirpa welcomes you to Endor," he said, words coming out pinched and precise, "and requests that you make yourself at home. If there is anything he or his warriors can do while you are assisting their neighbors, please let him know."

There was a brief conversation between Threepio and the Chief. "Or tell me and I will convey it," Threepio said. "I am C-3PO, human cyborg relations, and will be serving as translator for you during your stay here. Do watch out for the bugs, and the large drops, and the variety of creatures found in the forest..."

Luke shook his head at him and Threepio stopped speaking. "He worries a little too much," he explained with an easy smile. "If you'll follow me, you can drop off your stuff in the visitors' quarters and we can get started building some huts."

"I hope so," Lee said, glancing around. "I'd like to see how Sam is doing since he left me and my shirts. I even brought him an old one to chew on."

"Aww, that's so cute," Toby replied. "With any luck little Sky and Sam will be running around at the dinner thing tonight!"

"Probably!" Lee agreed. "Unless they're troublemaker Ewoks and are off like spray painting a tree or something."

"Oh my god! Sky would so be that Ewok!" Toby looked around worriedly.

"Which would mean he'd need your guiding hand to turn him on the path of righteousness," Lee teased.

That caught Toby's attention. "I would be like, his Yogurt."

"Yogurt?" Lee repeated. "You want to be his dairy product?"

"No," Toby swiped playfully at Lee's massive, sexy arm. "Like the little dude in the Space Battles, man, I can never remember his name!"

"Oh!" Oh, that made a lot more sense. "Oh, good, because I kind of like you human sized and I'd be afraid if you were a food, someone would try and eat you."

Toby laughed really hard. "Dude, I can only home someone tries to swallow me down this trip."

"Just not an Ewok," Lee said and made a face.

"You know, some of the bigger ones remind me of this guy I knew back home..."

"Really?" Lee asked, choking out a laugh. "Wouldn't the hair get...distracting?"

Toby reached to thump him on the back. "That depends on how recently the guy's bathed."

"Dude, hairballs!" Lee said and gagged.

"That's just nasty, man!" Toby said, choking on his laughter.

"You started it!" Lee accused without heat. "You're the one being dirty in the land of the Ewoks!"

"Dude, I am so not doing dirty things with Ewoks!"
