Goooood morning Fandom! The weather is lovely this Thursday and you've still got two full days to enjoy that nigh-incomprehensible accent and those impossible-to-navigate streets. Not to mention the obnoxious sports fans in Bruins jerseys, now that the hockey season is officially underway! Or you could avoid all that and venture a little further afield on one of today's planned excursions. The choice, as always, is yours.

"Oh." Sakaki blinked a little at Tahani when she realized that the other girl wasn't simply waiting for everyone else to get off the bus first, but rather looked like she didn't plan on getting off the bus at all.

"Aren't you going to do the rest of the hike?"

"No thank you," Tahani said with a little smile.

Sakaki blinked again, turning her head to look out the bus windows, and then back again to Tahani.

There was a small sound like acceptance, and it seemed like she would leave it at that, but then her brow furrowed a little and she felt she had to ask: "Why not?"

"My boots, alas," Tahani said, sticking her leg out, "were not made for walking."

"Oh," said Sakaki, wishing she knew more about fashion so she could understand a little more about what Tahani meant. Sure, they seemed a little overly decorated, but they looked like hiking boots to her? Especially since she herself had only come with sneakers...

"That's...unfortunate. So you're just going to stay here the whole time?"

"And look at the leaves," Tahani said. "Where I don't get my shoes dirty."

There was a pause as Sakaki considered that, which also included considering the view of said leaves from the bus.

"I suppose," she said slowly, "that if everyone else is on the trails, you're more likely to also see some wildlife back here where it's queit, too. Unless..." At this point, she seemed to just be thinking outloud to herself, "they're scared of the bus?"

Ah, the famed New Hampshire tigers.

Sakaki had been thinking deer! And maybe foxes!

But now there were tigers in thr picture!

Which would be scary all on its own, even if you weren't somehow a target for particularly vicious feline ire!

"T....Tigers?"

Sakaki was pretty sure there weren't native tigers to North America, but if her time at Fandom had taught her anything, it was that the U.S. was much stranger than she's be lead to believe!
