We're spending the week at the five-star/five diamond Boston Harbor Hotel. Hotel luxuries include a private health-club style spa and fitness center, award-winning dining, and a full-service 34-slip marina.

ROOMS [10/12]

Students' deluxe rooms have windows out over downtown Boston, and their chaperones' premier rooms have views out over the marina and into Boston Harbor. The rooms come equipped with all the amenities and two full beds or one king depending on which is funnier.

Dwight had been enjoying all the activities so far and was enjoying all the sights and sounds of the city. But today, today felt like a lazy day. So even as the morning activities began, he found himself still enjoying the comforts of the room and taking the opportunity to be lazy for once. He'd probably find something to watch on TV and order in something to eat in a bit. But right now, right now he was acting like he was on vacation, and it felt good!

FOOD [10/12]

Well, you definitely won't starve this week, even if you never leave the hotel. Rowes Wharf Sea Grille offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with both indoor and outdoor seating. Its afternoon tea is also extremely popular. You can also go for drinks and snacks at the Rowes Wharf Bar starting at 4pm. Or you can stay up in your room and order in.

AMENITIES [10/12]

Whether its the 60-foot lap pool, the Pelaton bikes and yoga classes you're all dying to try out, or the spa, the hotel has your fitness needs covered. The gym is open 24 hours, which is very helpful for you insomniac health nuts.

Alara was back at the gym in the early morning, since she had enjoyed her work out session yesterday and the equipment seemed to be able to hold her strength well so she thought she’d take advantage of that and use the gym facilities while she was here.

Without a whole ass marathon to run that day, Gladio was definitely making sure to squeeze in a good morning sesh with the weights and punishing some poor treadmill for a little while before really getting started in the swing of things.

The one downside of having his own room was that he couldn't badger the others about getting their butts up (well, Prompto's butt up; he wasn't sure half the time if Ignis even really slept) to whip them into a workout, too, but, hey, that was on them come next week when they got back to their training as usual.

He couldn't really manage all the weapons training and things like that he usually did in a swanky gym like this, but he'd work with what he had, giving a bro lift of his chin in respect and greeting to any of the other early birds hitting the mats with him.

Spa- late morning

Sure, Alexis could go out.

Orrrrr she could go to the spa and book a bunch of expensive treatments and charge it to the room. She'd gotten the stone massage, and now it was time for a nice, long, invigorating facial.

Excursions

Go, run free throughout Boston! The hotel will provide a car if you choose to go out on your own, and the school has arranged a few different excursion choices every day.

NORTH END PIZZA TOUR

During this fun and educational history walk you’ll see five Freedom Trail sites, plus enjoy three different slices from some of Boston’s very best pizzerias.

At least Jo was getting a unique experience of the history of Boston through all these different food tours, which is what she kept telling herself as she took part in the tour.

Also Deidre was going to have a lot of different photos relating to food the next time she wrote to her about the Boston trip.

Goose had done both the marathon and the crime walking tour yesterday, so he decided to take part in another walking tour and since he didn’t have much experience with pizza he thought this one would be a different one to try. He also found that he was finding the local history rather fascinating as well, which was something that he didn't always get the chance to learn about when he visited new locations since he was usually away on missions and didn't have the time to do so.

When Troy first heard 'pizza tour,' he thought maybe his ears were decieving him, because that sounded amazing, and, while he really couldn't complain too much because there'd still been pizza...come on. You had to admit, the proportion of pizza to learning experiences was drastically different than what he'd expected! Sure, it was fair, this was a school trip, but if you were calling it a pizza tour, the amount of pizza should at least outweight the amount of history you had to sit through to get said pizza!

...it was pretty good pizza, though, he'd give them that.

Pizza? Sidon loved pizza! And while he did love the fact that there was so much great seafood available here a little more, pizza was much more of a novelty for him, as they didn't have it in Hyrule, so he was pleased to indulge. He also loved stories, so the fact that there was so much history and education tied in with this particular tour was a pleasant and thrilling surprise, and he was eager to ask plenty of questions of the tour guide (who would surely get used the the giant looming red tourist!) and be glad that it was a significantly outdoor tour.

If anyone was surprised to find Astrid spending most of her day here today, then they clearly didn't really know Astrid very well. She made sure to check off some of the highlights off a list, but she'd been to enough museums in her life to really look forward to wandering around to some of the hidden surprises and gems here and there, soaking it all in and getting some ideas.

And maybe feeling a little meloncholy over the fact that the inevitability of rounding a corner and running into Sabine doing the same thing was no long an inevitability at all...

Ahh, yes! A museum of fine arts! Where Shunsui might not only be able to appreciate the fine beauty of paintings of beautiful women, but also of beautiful women appreciating the fine beauty of paintings of beautiful women! And though there was plenty of that to be had, it might not surprise anyone (especially since it was a bit on the nose) that he did eventually find himself in the museum's Japanese garden, where he could also appreciate a bit of excellent...meditation. Yes, that's what we'll call it, meditation.

Well, wouldn't you know it? One of the gigs Rosa picked up for the week while she was here involved needing to case out some security stuff around the museum, as there was some suspicion of some insider activity of a nefarious nature going on, so how convenient that she could be there to definitely chaperone and keep an eye on the kids as she made her way through very areas of the buildings.

Her attempts to appear unassuming and incospicuous, as it was, turn on a more hipster bent today, then, with a pair of black-framed glasses and a blue streak in her hair. She realized that these details might run the risk of inspiring someone on the trip with her to comment on them, but she also realized that that meant others on the trip would be also running hte risk of actually talking to her.

BOSTON DUCK TOUR

Climb aboard a unique amphibious vehicle and discover Boston from a different perspective. The World War II-style "Duck" travels on land and water and takes you along historic streets and into the Charles River on an 80-minute tour of the city.
