Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Feet Below Fandom, Friday

Did anyone know what was happening up top? Maybe Rey would get a message. Hopefully news from Alara that progress had been made was going around!

Otherwise, well. TGIF didn't mean a lot when you were stuck in a hole without much by way of a sense of time.

Even Faye's sticky fingers couldn't keep her occupied today, since she was officially out of cigarettes. In desperation, she'd found a butt on the ground that she hadn't quite finished off earlier in the week.

So, naturally, she was hanging out of the Red Tail to smoke that thing right down to the filter. Maybe even past it. They needed to get out of here, soon, before she started going looking for other things to smoke in desperation. (Sprinkles. Little pieces of magazine paper. Expensive spices from Hannibal's kitchen.)

"If you need something to do," Stark offered, "or if you want to see something ridiculous, you could come over to the bowling alley. For the...cooking."

You could help cheat, Faye, with hoarded snacks!

"I always want to see something ridiculous," Faye noted with intrigue. "There's a cooking thing? Someone's cooking?"

Faye would almost always take free food.

"Cooking might be too generous of a word for it. We're going to try and make something different out of what there is left. And drinks. You could help me, if you wanted?"

Unwrapping something from the junk food stash totally counted as making an appetizer, right? Or maybe they could add beef jerky to room temperature bowling alley nacho cheese?

Maybe they could artfully cut something up, since...you know. Maybe they had utensils to use that the other teams lacked.

Maybe. Perhaps.

"Sure," she agreed, eager for a distraction. "We can use anything?"

Because she was just going to reach over to a compartment in her ship and let a whole little flood of snacks fall out with a lift of one eyebrow, then.

"Steve said to forage for supplies. This counts."

Steve might disagree. Steve might also give them both Disappointed Looks for being involved in supply hoarding if he knew. Oh well.

"At least it should count. I think it counts."

Faye was pretty immune to Disappointed Looks, honestly. Like, Sexy Teaching Buddy Steve might be the exception, but she also was pretty good at getting him to blush instead of looking disapproving.

So, like, maybe they could pivot.

"It totally counts," Faye said, scooping up her goodies to take over to the bowling alley. "We found this stuff." In Faye's ship.

"We did," Stark agreed, beaming at her.

Look, this was his life now. Losing at rickshaw races against a jedi and cheating at cooking competitions in a hole. It was keeping him from panicking, right?
