It's our first full day in Boracay, so either get up early enough to meet the scuba and parasailing excursion or sleep in and laze around on the beach/at the pool all day. It's vacation!

HOTEL

Rooms

Students are in one bedroom suites, which include a spacious living area, a nook, a bar, and a separate bedroom with two double sized beds or one king for whichever makes better RP. The L-shaped sofa in the living area doubles as a sleeping space for two additional guests for when your room parties have gotten a little too exuberant. The chaperones are in premier one bedroom suites: two story, two bathroom rooms with private Jacuzzis that the students are super duper not invited to try out.

Restaurants 3/2

Breakfast is served at Sands RestaurantSands Restaurant if you didn't breakfast in bed, or you can grab a snack by the pools or out at the beach. Lunchtime provides options at the Indigo Restaurant or Forno Osterio.

Well, it was Monday morning, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out where Wayne might be. Sure, they were on vacation, but all's that meant was just that Wayne wasn't cooking it. Still had to have breakfast! It was tradition!

The masseuses at Terra were definitely in for a challenge today, as Amaya figured she'd best take advantage of their services. Her craft depended on her muscles after all! They were just as much a tool as a hammer or an anvil! And you had to take care of your tools!

And they might need to break out some tools for this one, considering Amaya's muscles probably had more knots in them than a macrame convention.

Pools and Beachfront 3/2

Half the reason to come to Boracay is the amazing white sand beaches. Enjoy the hotel's pristine section of beachfront (conveniently close to the Sand Bar), or go to the pools instead. There's a spot up on the roof infinity pool and Jacuzzi and the main pool on the ground level. That one also has a poolside bar, a kiddie pool, and butlers armed with inflatable toys and snacks. Well, the toys are inflatable. Not the snacks.

Beachfront

Liam wasn’t generally a shorts and t-shirt kind of guy, but even he could be convinced to forgo his usual preference for being covered as much as possible when the weather was this nice.

He picked up a (non-alcoholic) cocktail from the bar before settling in on one of the lounge chairs to read one of the books he’d loaded on to his Global for just this purpose.

Main Pool

Summer was planning on spending most of her free time during the day (when, you know, not "chaperoning") by the pool or by the beach, soaking up sun and scenery, but that morning, she was sleeping. Despite the very large coffee she was clinging to.

She didn't mean to fall asleep while lounging there, she was hoping the coffee would wake her up, but she was rooming with Amaya, and had just been claimed as the latest unsuspecting victim to Amaya's snoring.

Honestly, she'd be surprised that whe whole hotel wasn't kept up last night, good god, woman!

At least poolside, Summer figured there was a better chance of someone waking her before they headed out to the day's activities.

Seivarden had plans for the evening, but after breakfast she headed to the pool, obviously wearing gloves with her swimwear.

"You look like you didn't sleep well," she commented as she said down on the edge of the pool.

She hadn't slept a lot herself, but for different reasons.

Roof Lounge

The fact that Shunsui was even up before noon might seem like a bit of a miracle...until you realized he'd pretty much just gotten up to relocate up to the roof lounge andi nto the jacuzzi there...to take a nap.

Sure, there were jacuzzis in their rooms, but this was a vacation, there were so many other places to discover for naps (and a much better promise of pleasant interruptions to those naps than back in the room).

Beachfront

Kitty had managed to get Lexi out to the water on the last trip when it was just the pool, so today she was trying the beach.

Mostly Lexi was trying to pick up sand and then crying because she didn't like sand before picking up more of it. Fine. Maybe the kiddie pool next time.

Parasailing and Scuba Two-Hour Trip

Local dive masters will assist you as you scuba dive and take photographs of beautiful undersea plants and animals, then strap yourself into a parasail and sail above the ocean. It's terrifying so much fun!

"Oh, no thank you!" said Sidon cheerfully, holding up a hand and flashing a smile when the scuba gear was brought out. "I'll not be needing any!"

The parasailing part should be interesting, though!

Climbing Mount Luho

You fitness-enjoying weirdos. Mount Luho boasts an altitude of 112 meters, making it the highest point on Boracay Island. The 2 view decks at the top of Mount Luho can easily be reached via cement staircases. Along the way to the summit, you may spot birds, monkeys and a Filipino version of the Tasmanian Devil. The panoramic view from the decks encompasses the beaches of Bulabog, Ilig-Iligan, and Lapuz-Lapuz.

Food

If you're looking for something a little less hotel-y to eat, the stalls along White Beach have got you covered. Try out Sunny Side Cafe for breakfast, the variety of options inside Streetmarket Boracay, or try your luck at any of the other options around the island.

Even though a part of Astrid was reluctant, worried that all this sun and sand would be like salt in the wound that was California, she wanted to at least get some sketching in, and went out to enjoy the beach and a little bit of breakfast (and a handful of paper umbrellaz) before really setting off to settle on a spot.

Beaches

Boracay Island may be pretty small (7 km in length and less than 2 km wide), but there are no less than 17 beaches and coves of all shapes and sizes. You can head for the popular 4-km-long White Beach, or take a boat to the small and secluded Ilig-Iligan and Tambisaan beaches.
