Reykjavík, Iceland [Sunday afternoon into evening, February 17, 2019]
Fandomites arrive in Reykjavík around 2pm, which is plenty of time to explore the city before the sun goes down at 6. Museums and shops are open, and it's a good time to take advantage of buying warm Icelandic sweaters and cute boots before we head out to the wilder parts of the country tomorrow. We won't make it back to Reykjavík until Friday afternoon, after all, and there's a ton to see here!
The hotel is all ready for us to check in as well, if you'd rather just settle in and enjoy the spa and the room service.

"I kind of hope," she said, "we get to see an old settlement or something, some really old, historical stuff, you know? Viking stuff. And I want to see what the stars look like out here, too."

"I mean," she added a hasty second later, "the stars were probably a little different all the way back then, but it's still a nice thought."

Then she tilted her head curiously at Sabine. "Did you do a lot of research about this place before we came here?"

She saw enough stuff ruined, she could skip it. Especially when this all was going to make her a little homesick.
