"I didn't get a chance, with all of the yelling in Greek and casting aspirsions on my family that the guy did," Paris grumbled.

She said this like she wasn't preparing herself for having to practice the little bit of Greek she'd tried to learn for this trip. Luckily 'sorry' was one.
