Limni Keri, Zakynthos, Tuesday Daytime
Ready for your first full day in Greece, Fandom? Because Greece was ready for you! The weather in the morning was a comfortable 17C/62F, and would warm up to 24C/75F by the afternoon. Sure, there were a few clouds in the sky, but nothing that would cause you to think twice about spending the day outside.

Villa Phoenix
Rooms
The bedroom holds two single beds or a double
depending on what's funniest.[[ your room assignments are here! Please make sure to keep anything posted here to PG-13; anything else can go in your personal journal. ]]
Grounds
Or you could gather up in the common area, sit down on the pillows on the floor, grab a seat at a table. Read something from the hotel's small collection of books or watch television - it's up to you.

Outside the Hotel
She would have to actually go exploring to see if she could find food at some point, but for now she was content to just lay herself down under the shade of one of the trees, looking up at the clouds.
Re: Outside the Hotel
"Veeeeeette," she greeted, "do you know why paper, like, beats rock???????"
Re: Outside the Hotel
She paused.
"Unless paper is better than rock because at least it's more sensible than carving messages in stone?"
No, Vette, that wasn't it.

Limni Keri
Keri Boardwalk
Or steal into one of the small supermarkets if you'd rather stock up to eat in your apartment.
[[ please state the exact location you're at in the subject of any comments ]]
Supermarket
So once she left the grounds, she headed for a supermarket first thing. She'd be there awhile, pricing out food and trying to figure out if she should, like, also buy for Lana. It seemed like the roomie thing to do, but Lana had also mentioned having at least some money, so she wasn't sure...
Well, she'd figure it out--oh! And she also had to make sure that she had extra anyway, some for Vette and for Nell...
Re: Keri Boardwalk
A rock that snored louder than the Crumbler.
But it definitely put her in good spirits as she headed out to do her favorite thing with these trips, and that was to check out the local merchants and the food, where she'd find no lack of options to cater to her love of grilled meats, as well as more than enough fish fare that nearly took her back to her childhood, and she found it especially easy to explore and discover with more than enough money in her pockets now.
Imagine that. She's gone quite a ways from worrying about making ends meet back in Daventry, hadn't she?
Aelia Snack Bar & Coffee
She had to admit that at least it was a pretty good place to get a good morning yoga session in, but she couldn't exactly spend all day doing sun salutations. It seemed a risk to even try it; last thing she'd need is her roommate seeing that and trying to turn it into common ground or something. But she found a cafe, got some coffee, something for breakfast, begrudgingly admitted that it was at least a pretty killer beach view, and then started texting Santiago to bother her for updates about her dog, because she missed that stupid butthead and hadn't even thought about the fact that she might be able to bring her until she noticed that one kid brought his.
Keri Marina
Re: Keri Marina
Sure, he did so by slapping up an illusion to look like a human take on himself in rather more modern clothing, but even with that he was in his element, grinning outright as he explored the bustle of people interacting with the sea.
And yes, he would absolutely be negotiating for one of those fish. A sailor background and charisma coming out his ears meant he'd be getting an excellent deal on it, too.
Re: Keri Marina
...though it did rather confuse the fishermen, who were equal parts startled by this strange red sea creature that could talk as well as upset that he seemed to be frightening away their daily catch. No matter, though! Falling easily into his charm and grace and humbleness, eager to have something to do and, above all, to be helpful, Sidon made up for it by helping with the fishing, as he had a few times when he swam down to Lurelin Village, and this was that much easier without the threat of octoroks or lizalfos at nearly every turn.
Grateful for the help and the possibility of another round tomorrow, they'd offered a small portion of the morning's catch, which Sidon happily accepted, and now he settled somewhere near the docks to enjoy the bountiful, fresh breakfast, the brisk sea air, and the fact that he was feeling much more like himself again after the excursion.
He didn't know how long it would last, especially since he was already building himself up to be more social at the hotel later in the day (he did, after all, have a quest in which to embark!), but he would cross that stream when he came to it, and would just soak up the moment he had now for what it was.
Re: Keri Marina
...he couldn't fork over his money fast enough. "Yea-heah! Dolphins!"
He didn't even know what dolphins were!!
Re: Keri Marina
Keri Beach
Re: Keri Beach
No, it was the snoring that made her such a terrible roommate, for he hadn't had a single wink of sleep once she'd taken to her bed.
Carter located both a seat and a parasol and forewent the snack in order to enjoy the peace of the beach.
And, alright, in short order he was likely to be sleeping. Shhhhh.
Re: Keri Beach
And so when he noticed him sitting here in one of the beach chairs, he paused a moment, and then picked his way across the pebbles to go speak to him. Hopefully the fact that he was in disguise, looking like a far more human, far more modern-dressed version of himself, was something that the pastor could overlook, given... everything.
The man looked exhausted. Fjord would try to keep it quick.
"Pastor," he said, keeping his tone friendly, even approaching jovial as he stepped up nearby. "I believe I owe you an apology for last week's class."
And how he hadn't been there at all.

She was going to forsake the variety of chairs under shading parasols for now, though; she needed to sit closer to the shore, abandoning her boots as she tip-toed over the pebbles to find a spot to sit and get to work.
Well, not as much work as usual, actually; she spent probably twice as much time just gazing out over the water, knees hugged tight against her, letting her thoughts stretch idly over the horizon for hours.
