Limni Keri, Zakynthos, Monday Evening
The village of Limni Keri laid a little whiles out from the Portalocity terminal at Zakynthos's capital of Zante, but it was a pleasant trip full of beach views, tall hills and olive trees. The village itself was small, its various shops, homes and restaurants spread out across a square mile and a half, ending on a quiet beach.
The shuttle took them to a pretty yellow apartment complex. It held no restaurant, but the owners had left a spread of Greek mezedes behind for the arriving guests. Of course, if you were truly hungry, you could always take a stroll along the beach and pick one of the adorable Greek tavernas that lined the coast.
Come in, settle in. Enjoy the warm temperatures of Greece, and the sound of the surf.
[[ ocd up! have fun! ]]

Re: Room 301
Who had no idea of his fate as he rapped on the door frame, glancing into the room, before bringing himself to enter the very same thing.
"Oh, hello," he said, smiling pleasantly at--he thought her name was Amaya? Did she show up at Summer's class now and then? (And, truthfully, perhaps she showed up more often than he did...) "I understand we're to share this space for the week."
Re: Room 301
She'd had a housemate once for the extra income of rent, and couldn't even tell you how many times she'd thought of just forking that rent right back over to him just so he'd go somewhere else instead. A week wouldn't be nearly so bad, but...he should definitely be warned, it was the nice thing to do, really.
Re: Room 301
"It is good to meet you as well," he said, a bit cautiously. "I'm Pastor Carter. I'll... try not to take up much space?"
Re: Room 301
...which was sort of the crux of the issue, and Amaya wondered if this was a good time to bring it up, but....nah. Who knew? Maybe it wouldn't even be an issue! Maybe the Mediterranean air and the nice bed would just clear everything right up!
Spoiler alert: it would not.
Re: Room 301
He... really didn't know what to say to that. Was it the presence of another person that discomfited her?
"I will try not to be an imposition, in any case," Carter said, smiling a little. "While this is not the usual situation for either of us, courtesy like that is nothing."
Re: Room 301
Funny how that actually seemed like a completely normal conversation, too.
Re: Room 301
He still wasn't quite sure how the calendars here worked, though, since they had far, far too many days and months.
Re: Room 301
She pointed up to the light fixture on the wall.
She didn't think she'd ever really stop being fascinated by electricity.
Re: Room 301
"I couldn't explain exactly how it works," Carter admitted. "But yes, we do have those. And phones, though I've yet to figure out why everyone here needs their own."
