Limni Keri, Zakynthos, Monday Evening
The village of Limni Keri laid a little whiles out from the Portalocity terminal at Zakynthos's capital of Zante, but it was a pleasant trip full of beach views, tall hills and olive trees. The village itself was small, its various shops, homes and restaurants spread out across a square mile and a half, ending on a quiet beach.
The shuttle took them to a pretty yellow apartment complex. It held no restaurant, but the owners had left a spread of Greek mezedes behind for the arriving guests. Of course, if you were truly hungry, you could always take a stroll along the beach and pick one of the adorable Greek tavernas that lined the coast.
Come in, settle in. Enjoy the warm temperatures of Greece, and the sound of the surf.
[[ ocd up! have fun! ]]

Re: Room 209
[Suuuuper SP for the next little; I'm doing volunteer scheduling. SO MUCH VOLUNTEER SCHEDULING.]
Re: Room 209
"Um, usually twice a year we go places," she said, having to think about that. "Once in the spring, and once in the fall. Sometimes people invite each other to their places for holidays in the summer and the winter, but that's not school organized."
[Noted! Good luck with your scheduling!]
Re: Room 209
The whole 'sometimes people invite each other back home' thing made a lot of sense, too, not just for hanging out with friends, but... he rather got the impression that a lot of people in Fandom couldn't go back home themselves, or maybe didn't even have them to go back to.
He sat up and smiled back at his 'big' sibling. "So how've you been? Sorry, I feel like I've been kind of... hermit-y... since I got to Fandom."
Re: Room 209
"And, and if you don't go places in the summer, that's okay too. The school keeps the dorms open--oh, though sometimes they move us to tents or cabins for camping instead of the dorms, but there's always a place to be here and your room stays yours."
That was important. To Alluka, anyway.
"I've been okay," she said, though that wasn't really the right word? "I'm sorry I haven't kept up with you. Were you staying in your room because you wanted to?"
If so, she couldn't judge. Alluka still did that, years out from having to stay in her room.
Re: Room 209
He grinned again, shrugging. "I mean, I'm doing better now. Making some friends, and my roommate's great, and I even got a job."
Re: Room 209
Re: Room 209
... Also adorable.
"Groovy Tunes," Simon explained, "that, like, music shop? Apparently the fact that I know what vinyl is qualifies me to sell it."
Not that you need particularly high qualifications to sell vinyl.
Re: Room 209
That was wonderful! She beamed at Simon. It was almost like he was even more like a real brother, now, since her Papa would also look after him.
Re: Room 209
He couldn't help but grin back, though; that beaming smile was infectious. "Well, I guess that's kinda cool."
Re: Room 209
And she wasn't officially adopted but Alluka knew that that didn't matter to them.
"And, and it was better for me, to be with them."
Re: Room 209
But he didn't; he just nodded and grinned. "Well, that's good, then," he said, wondering if a hug would be appropriate. Not that he was normally a big hugger, but it kinda seemed like Alluka deserved them. "I'm glad you found them."
Re: Room 209
"They found me, well, Papa Jono did anyway," she said happily. "I went tumbling out of a portal and was on the island and Papa was there and he helped me figure out that I was supposed to be on the island." She considered that. "Though I still pretended to be in my room for a long time."
Because, well, she wasn't supposed to leave her room.
"He'll take good care of you," she added, since this was about Simon, not her. "And, and if you ever need help, he'll always do his best."
Re: Room 209
Not that it was all that surprising, to hear that about someone at Fandom.
"... So was there any food in the kitchen there?"
