Bali Hai, A spot for fishing

It's an island in an ocean teeming with fish. Of course there's fishing! Hire yourself some gear, and you can fish off the rock,

or wander down the pier.

Once you catch your fishies, wander back and they'll fillet and cook it right before your eyes on an amazing stone barbecue, then serve it up to you in a banana leaf with some spicy wild rice. And yup, you eat with your fingers.

Gabriel had found himself some fishing gear and now he sat perched on a rock, trying not to get entangled in the line. He seemed to have a talent for fishing however, something whicg Cat appreciated. Neither cat nor angel seemed bothered about cooking the fish.

Sokka hadn't fished in ages, and he was seriously out of practice.

After a while without a bite -- in water TEEMING with fish, no less -- he began to get visibly frustrated. After a while longer, he threw down his rod, let loose a loud yell, and headed off into the jungle.

Ten minutes later, thanks to his incredible skill with a knife, he had a very ugly-looking wooden spear that might or might not be serviceable for fishing with. He also had a fish on the end of his discarded rod.

Stan was here, fishing hat included, trying his luck. Ahh, peace.

Lion-o caught himself a couple of fish, and these were much better looking than the puny one from yesterday's class.

Mohinder found a spot on the pier, and a few minutes later he was lying, propped up on his elbows, with a fishing rod balanced over the side. More concentration might have given him better luck catching the fish, rather than just watching them.

Chad hadn't gotten much of a chance to enjoy the island they were near lately, so, once he was done with class, he decided that sitting and sleeping at the pole fishing would be a nice way to do it.

Freshly-caught fish -- oh, so good. Sokka nommed, and he nommed, and he nom nom nommed.

Lion-o watched in amazement as they cooked his fish over a very interesting-looking grill. He wasted no time in eating as soon as it was ready.

Ohhh, banana leaf curry. So good, but so damn messy.

I spend the entire time repressing the urge to wash my hands.

. . . how much do I love that you named the OCD thread "Nom nom nom."
