Spring Break, Cyseal, Friday Evening
For once, it was a quiet evening in Cyseal. Nothing terrible happened. Nothing attacked.
Obviously, it was the best possible time for a fireworks show, right?
The mages that had travelled all the way over here to clear the lava field certainly thought so.

"Dammit, Dante," she said quietly, more to herself even than to him. Her nails glided over his temples, down to the bottom of his skull, then back up to his brow. "You need to take care of yourself. Give some thought to those of us you're going to leave behind. We're not ready to bury you yet."
